Heats well and also added the blower which I got at a discount price. Takes of little space, does not need to be vented - however, if you have a "tight" house that is extremely well insulated, you should get a propane heater that is vented, as it uses the air in the room, and if there is not enough air being replaced due to the house being too tight, it is not good to use this heater. It also is not recommended to have this in a bedroom. It smells some as the paint is burned off, but this does not last. I would recommend this heater if it meets your needs.

It's not meant to install easily (we called the gas company) r/t it's a gas heater that requires correct hookup. Neither is it meant to be maneuverable since it's hooked up to a gas line, so those 2 categories are moot. All in all, I'd give it 5 stars. We've had this brand in our old home which lasted years. The last one though only worked less than a year - hopefully that won't happen again.

I've had several different brands of this type heater. All of the brands no matter the BTU size the thermocouple is not close enough to the flame. You must take off the front cover moving the thermocouple into the pilot flame to keep the pilot lit. The 30,000BTU wall furnace keeps my 1400sq ft modular home very warm unless it's below 25 degrees outside. It will warms the house when it's below that but won't heat 2 ft from the floor. I use this heater till my wood burning fireplace gets warm also when then weather is freezing at night but by 10am it's sunny and 70deg .

Heater really puts out the heat but the smell and use of available oxygen do not make up for the heat you get. I returned this for that very reason and purchased direct vent wall heaters for a lot more $. And yes I burned it on high outside for a couple of hours to get the new smell out, just cant stand the CO it puts out

I paid for two heaters only received 1

I bought this from a local hardware store, not from Amazon. I hooked it up to a 20lb propane tank with a regulator and 10’ hose. I wanted to test it because I’m at 6800’ altitude and there are warnings that it MAY not work above 4500’. This is due to the O2 depletion detection pilot which shuts off the gas if it determines the O2 being used up in a room. This one worked fine, however. I left it running for a couple of hours in the garage with no outages. I will eventually hook it up to my main propane line
