Qualita Rossa Coffee Beans, Pack of 6, 6 x 1000g

After a few years of running our espresso machine, we've concluded that consistency in process is as, if not more, important than going for fancy different local varieties; we found that every time we discovered a new roaster we'd waste 1/3 bag dialling in the right grind and dose. Eventually we decided to settle on a consistent, repeatable brand that we could get easily. Lavazza is that brand. Whilst not always the last word in character, it's easy-drinking coffee that's inexpensive and - to my non-coffee nerd tastes - results in a very tasty flat white or similar. I would certainly argue that a properly dialled in Qualita Rossa will taste nicer than an under-extracted fancy-pants locally roasted offering (which is quite likely if I am the one pulling the shots; your mileage may vary, as they say :) )

Items came nicely packaged. We are great fans of Lavazza coffee in my household. I’ve got nothing to fault this product. We love grinding our own coffee as the flavour is a lot more intense and rich. The best espresso experience one could enjoy every morning ☕️

I am Italian and Lavazza in pretty much the most common household coffee over there. It is not the most flavourful perhaps, but it is strong enough and dependable. It makes a nice cream with espresso machines and stovetop mokas. Not sure if it is suitable for filter coffee, in a pinch will do I guess, but probably not idea. It works well with the aeropress though.

The smell and taste of freshly ground coffee, transported me back to coffee houses. I was very pleasantly surprised. In fact, I am glad I bought this brand and look forward to trying the different strengths.
