Very pretty. Made of metal. It looks very nice on a table with my knitting in it.

Nearly Perfect
Granted, I've only been using this bowl for a few days, but so far, it has been exactly what I was looking for, with one small exception. The edges inside the whirl on the bowl's side, being unpainted metal, should have been sanded smooth, but they aren't entirely. It hasn't snagged my yarn yet, but I think it could with really delicate fibers.
