This comes with several pieces: the guitar and strap, tuner, a pick-card, and a cloth to wipe the shiny black guitar. The tuner took a little bit of figuring out, but when you hit the right note, it gives you lots of flashing green lights, so that encourages my son to tune before he plays. The cloth is a very nice touch I would have never thought of. The pick-card is probably my son's favorite part! He pushed the picks out and still carries the empty pick card around. Finally the guitar and strap. Strap is a strap, no complaints. The Guitar is great. It is just small enough for him to start learning chords, and it holds its tune, even going between his mother's house and my house. The sound is great as well. Very pleased with this purchase.

I expected almost a toy, but I'm very pleasantly surprised. Bought this for a 3 year old for Christmas so he hasn't seen it yet, but I tried it out and it has great sound even through the little starter amp. Upgrading to a better amp will be inexpensive and easy when that time comes. The shoulder strap is very sturdy so even as small as he is, he will be able to keep it on and not drop it. Highly recommend this for a kid just starting out.....!

I've played for almost 20 years. This guitar is a gift, but tested it first:It's.... Ok. Nothing mind blowing here. Visually the color is beautiful. The neck is smooth, and the size is just right.. and even tho I'm used to a full sized guitar I would definitely consider running a 3/4 as my main.. The amp is pretty much disposable, you will want to upgrade this asap...The only flaw, aside from the amp... Is the assembly quality seems a bit off. One thing that really bothers me... Some of the screws on the pick gaurd are not seated properly due to the drill holes not lining up just right... It's a minor flaw that blemishes an otherwise beautiful and perfectly functional guitar.

If you think by saving 20 bucks and going less expensive and it does not matter then you are dead wrong. You get so much more with this product versus the brands you seriously have never even heard of. I will tell you why I am writing this review. I ordered the complete package with Amp. Holiday shopping things get crazy and they did not send the amp, I wrote them and they immediately sent me my amp - not only that they were nice at Austin which in this day and age is great you know ... but they also sent a better bigger amp no cost. I was freaking out a little because it is my sons first guitar and without an amp it would be "price is right losing music" without it Christmas morning. I did not want to spend more on an amp either. It is a F.E.N.D.E.R ... it HAS to maintain standards - it will last and even at 3/4 its cool and you can hang it up on the wall as ART when you get a full size. The box was disintegrating, the guitar absolutely won't stay in tune, the action is unusably low. Don't waste your money on this piece of garbage from this awful seller.

Good quality for the money. It needed some minor setup. Small adjustment to string and pickup height and intonation. But was playable out of the box. A few of the fret ends felt rough but more than acceptable for the price. The tuner could be better too. This is a gift for my neice but as an adult I had fun plinking on it too. It has light string tension so it was fun for doing big bends! The tuners also could be better for small adjustment but it has held tune for the 2 weeks I have had it.

Put a lot of thought into getting the right size guitar for our 9 yo taking into consideration from musician friends and local instrument stores. Decided on this one because it was advertised as 39.6" in size! Open the box......35". Very Very disappointing.
