OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Soup Ladle with Pour Spout

What a great utensil for when I make large pots of things, like in my 8-quart slower cooker. I had looked for something like this at the local markets, but only found cheaply made, smaller copies that didn't hold up. THIS IS STRONG, and BIG, and does the job wonderfully. I also ordered the matching slotted serving spoon. What a nice combination.

I was hesitant to purchase this as there are cheaper options, but I do not regret the purchase. The ladle is sturdy, hefty and seems durable. We do a lot of soups/stew cooking and this gets used multiple times through out the day and it is holding up nicely. The easy pour sides are also helpful. Easy to clean and hang and its thick rubber handle is easy to use and protects from heat effectively. I am glad I did not cheap out and purchase the cheaper ladles.

Beautiful, deep ladle. I love the grooves in the side so you can pour off some of the broth either out of the spoon back into the pot or into your food bowl. The handle is sturdy and durable. I love that it has the black handle so the handle doesn't get too hot when touched. Easy to clean. Thick stainless steel construction. The edges are not sharp, nice and rounded. Fits nice in my small drawer even though it's a good size, deep ladle. I needed to replace the plastic ladle I had with Stainless Steel, great non-toxic cookware option. I have other OXO brand cooking utensils so this matched the rest of what I have. Great deal and great quality. I highly recommend!

Easy to pour from a full 4 oz bowl. Easy no spill pour from either side. I will mostly use it to fill my souper cube freezer trays. The 1 cup cube has 1 and ½ cup fill lines so this will work out great. Also, the ½ c cube will be an easy one pour, no guessing. Very pleased with the quality, weight and balance of the handle and bowl. Dishwasher clean up.

Had to replace a ladle that broke that we’d had forever and used all the time. Ordered a few to try. This one was the winner by far and my new favorite. Nice and large. Comfortable to hold and feels substantial. Well made. The shape is the best part. We have right and left-handers in our house and this ladle makes it easy for everyone to pour neatly. Very happy with it!

Good ladle but I wish the angle of the bowl was a little more strait, it is a but too angled for me but otherwise a good quality durable ladle.

I am replacing all my plastic utensils. I read the reviews and everyone seemed to really like this one. I have to agree that the handle is easy to grip. The utensil isnt too heavy but is extremely sturdy. It's dishwasher safe and easy to clean. The design is basic ..it's a ladle. What I like is that it doesnt have more than it needs...it's simple in it's design and weight.

I’ve only used this once, for canning jam. It’s heavy ladle and sturdy from what I can tell. It also did just fine in the dishwasher. I like the spouts on either side as well, which make pouring a bit neater during canning projects.

Good tool, well priced and delivered

This is a nice ladle, and pours easy with the little spouts on the sides and I can pour fluids without it making a mess. I measured and it holds 1/2 cup of water which is a fair amount, and it is deep enough that it does not pour out easily. My ladle arrived with a slightly bent/distorted handle from rough shipping along the way, but my husband easily straightened the handle by hand. My husband is a retired machinist so he knows metal quite well and he was impressed with the ladle. The handle seems sturdy and I like the rubber grip as it makes it easier to hold onto, even though it does add a bit of weight to the ladle over all. I am very pleased with this ladle

Perfect, good sized ladle for soups and curries etc, love the little pouring spouts on the sides which make it less messy to pour into bowl. Very sturdy and quality materials, I can see this being a lifetime purchase that will not need replacing.
