Good soft-shell leather sheath
I bought this as a soft sheath for an Opinel 6 folding knife & it fits perfectly. There's about 2cm of give at the top when the sheath is closed but that doesn't give the knife enough to slide out of the sheath when it's snapped shut.Other reviews had cited the internal stud as marking their knife handles - 2 things I'd say to that: Firstly that the design of the sheath is plain to see: There's a stud on the outside & so there'll be a stud on the inside obviously, so if your knife is precious to you, then but another sheath. Secondly, the risk of a scratch is very easy to fix - simply add a piece of canvas Sniper Tape inside to cover the stud fittings. Just a simple fix using some common sense.The only thing that is stopping me giving the sheath 5 stars is the belt fitting, which is lightly sewn on & looks like it could do with manning-up a bit. I'll reserve judgement on that until it's been used but will update after it's been on my belt for a while.Other than that, this is a nice looking, light, soft sheath that is good value for the money & it's worth a look.
