A friend of mine gave me a 12lb jar of honey and I needed something to make it easier to use and these jars are perfect. I had to transfer the honey into a large measuring cup and heat it in the microwave and the jar opening is wide enough that I didn't need to use a funnel. The cap is a flip top and it comes with a inner seal so the bottles that I'm storing on my shelf will be better protected. The jars appear to be heavy enough to be recycled and used again for the next large jar of honey that may come in the future.

These are sold as 24 ounces. They are not. Mine was at the most, 20 ounces. Shame, really.
