Convenience Concepts Xtra-Storage 3 Door Cabinet in Black Wood Finish

I love this little cabinet much more than I expected. Although it neatly fits well in a limited space area, the storage spaces within this cabinet are larger than I anticipated. Originally, I felt a little overwhelmed to assemble this unit. However, the directions are straightforward, and every piece had a designated number along with a diagram to follow. Therefore, the assembly went faster and easier than my initial reservations and it only took me a few hours during the evening to build the entire cabinet. My other concern was the ‘dings’, dents and other imperfections of the wood. However, once assembled most of them are not noticeable, and the visible imperfections just need a black magic marker to camouflage a few little flaws. Required Tools 1. Philips Head screwdriver 2. Black magic marker to fill in any dings (optional) 3. Vacuum Cleaner to clean up the Styrofoam bits (optional) General Description and Measurements: This cabinet has a finished black veneer along the front, sides, top and within the cubicle areas. However, the backside shows the brownish particleboard, so it would look best with the backside against a wall. The cubicles, which include the top open one and the three with the magnetic door closures, all have the same size and storage area. CABINET MEASUREMENTS: Height – a bit over 46.5” Length – (from side to side) - 16.5” Width – (coming out from the wall into the room) 12” THE CUBICLES – the open shelf and the 3 storage areas with the magnetic doors are all the same size, and below are the INSIDE measurements for each cubicle. Inside Cubicle Height: (storage area within the cubicle) 11.5” Inside Cubicle Length: (storage area from left to right side) - 15.25” Width: (inside shelf area from front to back) - 11.25” (However, the doors fit within the cubicle, and each door is ½” thick, therefore when the door is shut closed this will take off about ½” from the front to back depth measurement. The last thing to note is the ‘open door radius. The doors open from left to right and the clearance space needed for the unit with the door fully opened is about 26.5”. I am noting this fact in my review because I wanted this cabinet situated in tight corner of the room. I had to move the other furniture a couple inches away, to accommodate the extra space needed for opening the cabinet door. I am genuinely happy with this small storage cabinet. The assembly only took a few short hours and went smoothly, all the different parts had numerical labels and the directions were easy to follow. Although, there were a few small dents in the wood, a black magic marker camouflaged these imperfections. The cabinet is very sturdy on our carpet, and I like the magnetic doors that enclose the lower bottom three cubicles as it provides a little privacy for storage and my items within the cubicles do not gather dust. Furthermore, they line up perfectly and do not scrape at all. However, what I really appreciate is the spacious amount of storage area, which is a lot more than I expected. Currently, I have my large capacity essential oil diffuser on the top, which is a perfect height to run my diffuser. On the open shelf that’s below my diffuser are more than 50 bottles of my essential oils, which are now accessible, and I’ve attached a sensor light at the top which provides full visibility, because it was dark within the shelf. I keep my assorted jewelry boxes along with my jewelry-cleaning machine in the next two cubicles with the doors. This gives me a little privacy instead of having my jewelry visible right on top of my bureau. In the bottom cubicle, I’m storing an extra heavy blanket along with my portable space heater that I use in the winter. It took up too much room on my closet shelves and I didn’t like keeping it on the floor. This is a great little cabinet, it was easy to assemble, and it’s a good-looking organization unit. Although it’s small, it has a spacious amount of room to reduce a substantial amount of clutter, and the cubicles with the doors provide a bit of privacy.

Bought it along with the console table serving as a TV stand to replace an old entertaining center and very happy with the result. Love the color and the light weight. The assembly is not difficult once you understand how the hardware works (watch youtube video if you are new to it). There are some minor scratches on the outside, but since it's not easy to find such a replacement with the right color, style and size, I still give it an overall 5-star rating.

Beautiful, sturdy, goes well with decorations, accurate picture of product, easy to assemble. Pre-drilled holes worked well, doors close properly, not too heavy.

The marble is mesmorizing to look at. The quality is good. The screw holes come with durable thick marble looking covering stickers which was great. They are very sturdy and carry a high capacity of objects.bassembly was a little tricky but easy to do alone. Only issue I had was the delivery. I bought 2 and one came damaged. But was able to get a 2nd one after they refunded me. But overall the product is great.

The first delivery of this cabinet went wrong between Amazon's warehouse and my front porch, and there's probably someone in Pennsyltuckybama wondering who sent them a heavy box full of furniture parts, but the second try was successful, thanks to Amazon customer support. This may not be your experience, but maybe factor in an extra day or two for shipping even if you have Prime if you're in a hurry. Your mail carrier may not want to put a heavy box on your porch that day. You never know. Cabinet is perfect for my needs (e.g., hiding pet care supplies in a cabinet that said pets could not climb up or open up) and I was able to put it together by myself. I'm pretty handy, to be fair, but I'm no expert, so if I can do it, you can. Cabinet did arrive in a well-padded box, but still had a slight bit of damage to the front left of the bottom shelf: the corner of the shelf was mashed in a bit, like it got dropped on a hard surface before being packaged at the warehouse or in transit. It was minor enough that I can easily overlook it and I doubt anyone else will ever see it. Cabinet cubby areas with doors are tall enough inside to place average-height spray bottles of cleaning products and even (though it is a tight squeeze) an upright roll of paper towels. The cubbies are also almost but not quite deep enough (by perhaps a quarter inch or so) to be able to accommodate a stack of folded newspapers. It comes with a way to attach it to your wall to secure it if you are concerned about pets or small children climbing on it or it tipping over in a quake. The color appears to be black in Amazon product photos, but it is actually a very dark "espresso" color; this won't clash horribly with black / dark brown wood / melamine furniture if you have either. For flatpack boxed furniture, I think this is a fair price for a decent product.

It’s exactly the size I needed and decent quality for the price. It’s a bit unstable but I haven’t installed the tip proof hardware yet. Magnetic doors are really strong so I will have to if I decide to keep it. I reached out to company requesting a replacement shelf for the one that was broken. If they don’t ship it I will have to return. The finish is really nice. I got the grey one. I’m hoping to keep it but the shelf that is broken is of course there open shelf one and visible. Will update review once I hear back from company and see if they stand behind their product.

I was hesitant to get these due to the 3.5 stars reviews but I'm glad I let myself be persuaded by the inexpensive price. I needed something that could grow with my wardrobe that is not flimsy but not regret getting rid of if I move and this fits the bill. More detailed review below but I'm pretty much buying another one or two as soon as I finish writing this review. I'm not typically a fan of DIY products but I have to admit 2 things about this product was genius! * The package in which the parts came in - the parts are organized in separate compartments and clearly labeled and on top of that, there's on fear of getting them all mixed together when you open the packet * the doors are attached to the cabinet using spring pins so you just pop them into pre-drilled holes on the top and lower shelf - no hinges required and so much more secure! PROS: 1. Instructions - very clear! As mentioned before, the parts are in compartments and clearly labeled. Each part of the cabinet is also clearly labeled so you know which one the instruction is referring to 2. Sturdy and not wobbly 3. All the parts were in good condition and no damage CONS 1. The top shelf (which does not have the pre-drilled hole for the spring pin) was mislabeled so we assembled it in the wrong place. We realized our mistake only when we were trying to attach the door and realized there was no pre-drilled hole in it. But no biggie, we were able to swap the 2 shelves easily without having to disassemble everything.

Love the color of this piece! Very sturdy even without using the wall anchor, I use it to store a lot of my dogs toys and treats. Love that the top cube is open as it lets me display my books nicely. I accidentally put in the door upside down at first (my own fault didn’t pay attention to directions close enough) and they were very easy to flip around without any of the screws or holes getting stripped. I was able to move the package on my own but it is on the heavier side. Really enjoy this product and fits perfectly where I need it to. Color is spot on to pictures advertised.

Got this one at 34$ instead of over 100$ because it was a warehouse deal. To my surprise, only the box was a bit damaged, the cabinet itself had never been mounted, everything in the package was brand new. I use it to store food in my kitchen because of a lack of space. I would not put bags of potato or super heavy jug ot cans but it perfect for anything else.

This piece is easy to assemble and looks quite good as a piece. i bought for office storage of binders, books, etc. The back is not very strong, and for heavy items, should be against a wall to prevent the items from pushing the back off the frame. Is ideal for kids' puzzles and games. Lots of space, with one shelf that has a door, and 3 open shelves. Quick delivery, too.

3 stars because it serves its purpose for now. Otherwise, poor quality and already chipped during assembly. The instructions were a nightmare. I had to disassemble and do it my own way which actually worked. Only recommend if you need something cheap temporararily.
