I liked first of all that it REALLY says it does, plump. On the very first application you can feel a burning that increases over time. It made my eyes water and my nose run and started breathing through my mouth. Haha. It takes very little. I tried to test how long it would last I was at an hr before having to remove it to eat. Heat seems to reactivate the effect as well, like taking things out of the oven or as rubbing your lips together. It is a bit small, compared to a mascara tube it’s a tad bit smaller than half. It does have a bit of a weird taste if you happen to get some On your tongue. I HIGHLY recommend if you plan on getting a plumped look without the needle. Retested then longevity it was almost an hr and a half, 1hr and 28 mins and 30 secs to be exact. Will use on occasion due to it’s intensity and it’s size.

I bought this plumper on a whim, but am so glad I did. I have very sensitive skin, even on my lips, and most plumpers just hurt to wear- causing redness, intense burning, dryness, and very little plumping. This little pill, however, is wonderful. It keeps my lips moisturized when I wear it, plumps for over an hour, and even though it tingles a bit- it's not overpowering or painful. The only caveat that I found is that it's much smaller than it looks; it's about the size of your pinky. Don't let this deter you, though, as it packs a powerful punch and a little goes a long way.

It definitely plumps my lips, but it stings SO MUCH!! I know that's supposed to happen, but make sure you apply it carefully because if you get it on your tongue, ouch. Overall, it works but I've tried other lip plumping products that were much better.

So there's a little bit around the edges that created definition.... I think.... But that's extremely short lived. Kind of like how a tattoo feels like cat scratches this feels like you have extremely dry lips and you just put a moisturizer on. You know that tingling I'm talking about? It's around the edges of your mouth and that's about it. The unfortunate part is that once the tingling wears off your lips are no longer shiny and back to what they were. And I want to say that's about a 30-minute time.. and that's being generous.So in a sense you're wondering what was all of that for. I did see pictures and saw it worked for some.... just didn't work for me.

I've been looking for a lip gloss that does what the Smashbox product does - namely, plump lips via a tingling effect that encourages blood flow, not simply some uber-glossy product that looks like an oil spill on your face. I would say this Derol plumper definitely has the tingle down, and it does provide plumping action. It definitely gives the lips a deeper hue. The effect does take some time, tho, and is not as instantaneous as Smashbox has achieved; it doesn't last quite as long on the lips either. And for those of you who enjoy the Smashbox tingle, I would say this product is even more tingly than that, and for those with sensitive lips may border on uncomfortably so. I am keeping it as a backup product to Smashbox, which can be difficult to get a hold of. But I wouldn't call it a replacement. What I was looking to get out of this product was a very natural look for my lips - something that gives a touch of colour and enhances form, without having to put on actual lipstick/coloured gloss. For a bit over half the price of Smashbox, it is a decent product that can last a while, altho hardly outstanding.

This lip plumper is one if the best products i bought last month. When I first received it I thought that the product came in a very small container but then as I used it I realized a lot goes a long way! The feeling of it on my lips is like a very light burning stimulating sensation similar to when I eat a pickled pepper. It doesn’t hurt it actually feels like when you have an enzyme mask on your skin. It does a very good job I feel like my lips look less dry and healthier and back to their natural size when I used to drink a lot of water. The lip maximizer also looks very cute and glossy and is lightweight. I love that it doesn’t feel greasy when I put it on like when I used to put on vaseline. It’s worth giving it a try!!! I know I’m buying another one once i finish this one. The fact it has ginger is a plus for me.

I have always been a chapstick and lip gloss obsessed person. People know me as the girl who is ALWAYS putting on chapstick. Since I started using this product, however, I no longer need to apply chapstick. I put this product on before bed, and wake up with my lips softer and more moisturized than ever. If I put it on before leaving the house I can literally go all day without using chapstick. I’ve most noticed the softness and smoothing (less lines). I’ve been using the product for about 2 months now and even though it’s small, I’m still on my first tube. I’ve noticed people commenting on the sting. The first time I used it my lips stung quite a bit, and I was afraid I’d have to remove it, but the sting gradually went away over time. It stung less each use. I think it just stings at first because it’s working... and your lips are in major need of moisture. When I put it on now there’s just a little tingle but definitely not anything that hurts and it goes away fast. The shine actually looks like gloss, too. I’m a fan. I’ve recommended it to family and friends!

What I like about this plumper is that it does plump your lips, bringing a stinging sensation to your lips a couple seconds after putting it on. Another thing I like is how fast the sting dissipates. You have the sting for maybe 3 minutes before it is gone completely, but your lips are still plump. The formula is a little sticky, so would recommend putting it on before makeup so that your lips are nice and plump before you put on other lip stuff, or put it on as a gloss that plumps you lips. Overall, this plumper is very good for the price, highly recommend!
