This stuff is to dye for!!
TL,DR: this stuff is legit, works on unbleached (but lightened) hair, it’s an alcohol-free aloe vera based formula, AND you get two bottles for the price of one!! That’s right — 2 for 1!My light brown hair asked for a colorful makeover. The last time I had dyed it was half a decade ago, and before then I kept going back and forth between carrot-top and tomatohead. I figured this time, should I embody a beetroot? Challenged accepted! And thus began this mission.Because my hair cannot handle bleach, I researched what is the best way to transform unbleached hair to purple. The first step was to lighten the hair a shade or two. I stumbled upon a variety of natural methods, and ended up doing a homemade paste of sorts using 3% hydrogen peroxide, baking soda, and honey, leaving it on for 30 minutes before washing. I applied it twice — waited about two weeks between application. It made my hair a dark orangey copper the first time, then slightly more golden the second time. Nostalgia almost convinced me to stay with that color, but no… The mission was to get that bloody beetroot! The next step was finding a dye that works on unbleached hair. I had used “Wildfire” flavored Manic Panic the last time I dyed my hair, to obtain that spicy candy red. It didn’t let me down before, so why not go with that brand again, right? Ha! Right. It was quite the letdown. The concoction was more like a color depositing conditioner that didn’t deposit any color.Such deception… but! My determination superseded that feeling, so back to the drawing board I went. After researching legit semi-permanent dyes, I stumbled upon a few, one of them being Adore. I was leaning towards Arctic Fox at first, but after reading almost all the Amazon reviews on this product, I opted for their Purple Rage and Truly Red.I first applied the purple to most of my hair, then applied red to the bottom portion, the bangs, and some of the front strands of hair. I twisted each portion of hair like a cinnamon bun, covered them with a plastic cap, and “put them in the oven” by wrapping a heating pad around the cap (one review suggested to apply heat and mentioned using the heating pad instead of a hairdryer). Because I didn’t want to relive the panic Manic Panic gave me, I left the dyes on for about four hours to ensure proper color absorption. I then unwrapped and uncoiled the hair and washed the dyes out with only conditioner and not so warm but not cold water. And…As you can see from the photos, this stuff really works! To my surprise, the dyes actually didn’t leave my bathtub looking like the aftermath of La Batalla del Vino. The purple dye did leave a few small streaks, but they came off completely right after I cleaned the tub. Also, I didn’t realize at first, but this dye has no alcohol! I avoid any and every hair product with any variation of alcohol in it. My hair appreciates sobriety and hydration. The aloe vera in this formula provides the kind of hydration my hair unexpectically needed from a hair dye. It’s also worth mentioning the package comes with two bottles of dye for the price of one — same size bottle as Arctic Fox, but at half the cost! In this economy, that is most definitely a win. I ended up with four bottles altogether. Just one bottle of each color sufficed. Even after using so much of the one bottle of purple dye, I still had plenty left over. I put some in a separate bottle, added conditioner, mixed them up, and did the same in another bottle with the red.Although it ended up looking like a female Magneto and not so much a beetroot, I’d still consider this mission accomplished!I’m dyeing to try out other colors when I bluelieve I’m redy — maybe in another five years, maybe sooner! So, yeah… 10/10 would recommend!

Great Brand Great Colors
Ginger Color Review: For some reason, Amazon isn’t letting me place a review for my last purchased bottle of Adore Ginger Hair Color, so…I will just have to put it here. For years i have been eye balling this color and finally i have decided to get it and use it alone by itself. Most people tend to get this color and use it as a mix in with other colors and I really wonder why because this color is absolutely stunning when used on it’s own! I’m now a red head/ginger but this color when put on top of a gold or dark golden base looks like it’s a glowing light/mild orange color. The color actually looks like it glows! I kid you not. I have gotten so many compliments on the color and for me as well using this color. From women and men. I was told that i was pretty twice within 2 days by 2 different ladies so far, with this color. This color is very eye catching indoors as well as in the sunlight and outdoors. I can’t believe how many compliments I get with this color. I believe I will stay this color for awhile. However, i intend to go White in the future. I want to look like a Targaryen eventually. Lol Those that are GOT fans know exactly what I i mean. 😊 So, coming from black/dark brown hair color, i thought trying this color was the perfect time to do so since my ultimate goal color is Targaryen white/silver. I am so glad i tried this color on its own. It’s highly impressive looking and definitely the color you need if you want to stand out. It’s definitely one of my favorite colors in the Adore color line. Yes, i do and would recommend this color and brand of dye to family and friends. The color stays put well. If you want to make it a little more permanent color, just use it in dry hair instead of the wet hair as it states on the bottle’s directions. Dry and clean hair. If you want the semi permanent effect, just use on wet shampooed hair or follow the directions that are on the bottles. I always do the permanent color way. The color does stain a lot of things so you will want to be careful with spilling it on surfaces and clothing. It does seem to come up good when stained on skin. On surfaces and fabrics it’s virtually impossible to get it off but you might want to try using Acetone on surfaces to see if it cleans up some. I have long thick wavy waist length hair so i used about 14 bottles. I bought 12 bottles and it wasn’t enough so i had to buy 2 more. The bottles are little that’s the inly thing i hate about this product. They don’t accommodate those with longer than neck length hair.

Great Stuff
I really love this hair color… While it doesn’t last long, you can use it weekly on your hair without it drying out because there are no chemicals or harsh dyes in it. It actually makes my hair super soft, and it looks like I have foils put in it! People are always shocked when I tell them it’s a color I put on myself.I comb it through my hair when I use it all over, and put it on my gray roots in between an all over color. One bottle will last me like 5 or 6 colors, seriously, and I have thick shoulder length hair!I only wash my hair once a week on Sunday so I don’t end up with “old lady” hair. My hair has lost a lot of oils as I’ve gotten older. And I actually like it better on days 4-6.I wish I had a better selfie of my hair but I just don’t take many selfies, lolBut trust me when I say, this stuff is amazing and the colors are very vibrant!! I highly recommend this hair color!

Vibrant color
I recently used Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Crimson and was extremely satisfied with the results. The color went on smoothly and evenly, and the vibrant shade of Crimson was exactly as pictured on the box. The formula is gentle on the hair and did not cause any damage or dryness. I also appreciated the long-lasting nature of the color, as it has stayed vibrant and true to tone after multiple washings. Overall, I would highly recommend Adore Semi-Permanent Hair Color in Crimson to anyone looking for a bold and vibrant hair color option.

Great product
I never usually leave reviews but I'm so impressed with these dyes that I couldn't resist.I've used many permanent copper dyes over the years and they're never the right colour either too brown or too red rather than specific orangey-copper I was looking for. Frustrated, I decided to lift my natural hair colour (level 5) to an orangey blonde and then use a semi permanent colour over the top instead. After struggling to find a semi perm that wasn't too orange, I found Adore hair dye and will probably never look elsewhere now.Personally I think Adore produces the most natural looking ginger/copper semi perm hair dye I have found. I use French Cognac with Adore Ginger (shade 30) to create my perfect ginger. My hair always feels lovely after use and I like the gel formula. My mix changes every time as I never both to measure it properly but I tend to use between 1/3 French Cognac and 2/3 Ginger to 40% FC and 60% G.It does fade quickly (it is a semi perm after all) but I just mix some French Cognac and Ginger into a bottle of conditioner and leave it in for 15 minutes every time I wash my hair.

Works even on dark brown hair!
Fed up with hair in lockdown and always wanted to “go pink”! I have lightly permed dark brown hair with silver strands coming through. Put the dye on nearly towel dried hair. Put plastic cap on for about 20 minutes then rinsed, shampooed and rinsed again. Really pleased with result and got half a bottle left for when it’s washed out. II think I’ll leave it on longer next time to see if it goes pinker! It didn’t mark my pillowcase but guess it would if hair was damp. Very happy customer!!

No damage! smells great! long lasting
I love the adore range! I used several colours such as emerald pink and now the purple, and they have not let me down!A little does go a long way and I have found a routine with my hair that allows me not to dye it as much therefore locking the colour in for longerFor a vibrant effect then apply to lighter or bleached hairConsidering I dye my hair a lot this hasn’t damaged my hair at all and leaves my so shiny.Would definitely recommend

Best dye I've ever used!!!
I don't normally leave reviews, I'm more of a lurker but Oh my word! I am totally in love with this dye!!! I ordered this on same day delivery as basically I'd used a different brand pink and it literally just washed out on the first wash, so I spotted this and the reviews were good so thought I'd give it a go myself... Well! It's probably the best dye I've used to date (and believe me I've used a lot) I did think the consistency was a bit weird, like fake Halloween blood lol but it was quick and easy to apply, but make sure you cover where you're doing it as it will dye what it hits. I left it on for about 45 minutes and then washed off and ran some conditioner through it as my hair is really dry anyway. Once dry I am still just as impressed, the colour is consistent all the way to the ends of my hair and its really shiny looking (as my hair is wrecked atm) the pics in this review are literally from blow drying, nothing else. You can see it's still taken in my darker blonde areas where I've separated my hair so you can see. Honestly for the price this is totally amazing! Give it a go, you won't be disappointed :)

New favourite dye!
I naturally have light brown hair and before using this dye it had been dyed using a permanent ginger dye that unfortunately faded very quickly. It faded to the colour you can see in the photo and i wanted to top it up but i didn't want to keep using permanent dye as I didn't want to damage my hair so I decided to switch to Adore as I knew semi permanent dye would be better for my hair. I actually only used about a third of one bottle and mixed it with a lot of conditioner.Because the colour of these dyes are so concentrated you can dilute them quite a bit and still get a good colour. As you can see from the second photo my hair is so much brighter now and still feels healthy and soft!! I still have another 2 uses from this bottle so it definitely will save me money in the future and still keep my hair nice and healthy. Highly recommend!
