Tastes good! Barely more expensive than fake wasabi
It's good! Almost no nose burn like you get from horseradish-based wasabi. Lasts a decent amount of time in the fridge.It tastes fantastic with sushi and sashimi (as you would expect). But I actually prefer the horseradish version for meat dishes and in BBQ sauce. So now I have both in my house.Pretty fair price too. Without the burn you end up eating a lot more of it though.

Authentic and good
This is made from actual wasabi root, not like the green-dyed "wasabi" made from horseradish powder that you get in restaurants.It's absolutely delicious.The flavor is more complex, and is refreshing compared to the restaurant stuff.I keep it in the refrigerator, so I always have an extra ready to go.Be careful with it though. The horseradish stuff in the restaurants has a "superficial" burn. This has more of a "deep burn" if you eat too much of it in one bite, which has left me gasping when I chomped down too much in one bite.A little goes a long way.

This is real wasabi.
Unlike the fake wasabi you get at a sushi place in the US this is easy to apply, the way it should be. I used about 1/3 of the tube for my own dinner the last time my wife and I dined out. definitely feels & tastes different than what you taste with the horseradish based fake wasabi served in the states. This is the only one I have found so far that is made with only real wasabi radish. It tasted great and was very good on my maguro. it keeps in the fridge for quite a while as well. I will be buying it again.

Great flavor, pure real Wasabi. But too pricy for this tiny tube.

We only buy and use this wasabi. Made in Japan. Taste is great. We compared it to another tube wasabi side by side and this tasted better. I have purchased more than a dozen of them.

Loooove this stuff
This is not the same as fresh wasabi, but itās far better than the green powder mixed with water we traditionally see in the US. I like to grab fresh wasabi root from the Japanese grocery when I can and grind it fresh. But thatās expensive and itās not always available. This is more like a wasabi kosho, which packs a nice punch and is far tastier than green horseradish powder.I put this on everything. Sushi of course, but anything Iām looking to jazz up a bit. Sandwiches, roasted tofu, mixed into rice. Itās very versatile. I always keep one of these on hand, itās a staple in my kitchen now.
