I bought this to replace screen on a lizard cage that got damaged . Screens are a pain to replace in my opinion but it is sturdy and the black color was what I needed

Building windows for my greenhouse, and actually attached the screens to the gh openings with staple fun, then hinged windows over those. Works beautifully.

Nice medium gauge aluminum screen. Works great. Be sure to buy oversized as there was a 3 inch variation on the rough end. Should have been fine, but the roller I used cut into the screen. So when shifting the screen to refit, it came just short to be usable.

Much cheaper than local suppliers

as another viewer had mention I too have a few cats that like to lounge in open windows, and occasionally a stray cat will come calling to make his presence known and will climb the screen. Nylon screening can't hold up to that kind of behavior, but this aluminum screening seems to be standing up to those claws pretty well. I believe this was a good buy for under $7.

aluminum screen is probably about the same across the board, but the big distinction which separates one from another is: when the packaging fails and the screen gets bent. It left a series of ripples in an otherwise smooth screen. I thought of returning it, but it took the shipper a week and a half to deliver it. It's too much work for the DIY enthusiast like myself when you can only pray stretching the screen will resolve the problem. It didn't. Bottom line: you can't find aluminum much wider than 36 inches, so finding a product like it is going to be as tough as seeing it bent, then putting it in that way.

Our hardware stores no longer carry the 48 inch wide aluminum screens, so I was pleased to find these. They arrived on time and in good condition. Nice sturdy screens. I'll order again next year.

Although many use this screen for windows/doors. I use it to deter cats from my garden. It really work well. The screen did not puncture or tear. It also keeps out the birds from the blueberry bushes which are enclosed in the screen.
