Fantastic Product โ Exceptional Value โ Even Better Customer Service !
No need to pay more ! Innova Model ITX9688 My doctor recommended my โtrying outโ inversion therapy, for my diagnosis of low-back problems, including bulging discs and spinal stenosis. Not being sure if an inversion table would work for me, I shopped for a โbudgetโ model on Amazon โ just to try it out. All Reviews Led To INNOVA ! I ordered the ITX9688 with the Extended Ankle Lever, and the model with the short ankle lever arrived . . . INNOVA Customer Service to the Rescue ! They came to my immediate rescue and took care of all of the update parts โ bringing my table up to the ITX9688 Specs ! They were a true pleasure to work with, and I was SOLD on this product, even before I began using it. As a senior Mechanical Design Engineer, I looked at the quality of design and materials used for this product, and I was very impressed with both. The Table requires Assembly โ and came very well packaged, including excellent assembly instructions, and all of the required hardware, carefully laid out to an assembly board, which already has the specific hardware items packed & labeled, according to the corresponding assembly instructions page โ The Hardware Board also came with the required assembly tools โ making this a; Open the Package > Read The Instructions > Assemble following the very easy to understand instructions โ using the corresponding hardware items โ there are clear pictures showing everything. For those reviewers who said the assembly process was confusing or difficult . . . Well . . . If you actually read the very simple and well laid out instructions โ yes โ I took my time - - and it went together beautifully. Now, I have a full mechanical shop with a very large tool inventory โ but I chose to assemble the table using the supplied tools from Innova โ I just wanted to see if it could be done using only Innova supplied materials. No Problem โ Anyone who takes the time to read and follow the supplied instructions and materials, will be rewarded with a very nice assembled table. Even those with minimal mechanical skills can do this, they just may need to take a little more time . . . โItโs worth itโ โ Just be patient โ and if you run into a problem - - You can rely on their fantastic customer support team. I began using the table โ Setting The Balance Pivot Point was a simple process โ starting by setting to your height โ trying the table out โ then making some sleight and easy adjustments to allow for personal body-weight-distribution. I was warned to not attempt full inversion โ but go slowly โ as my doctor recommended work up to full inversion. He wanted me to start off nearly horizontal, and each week, adjust the very easy Inversion Angle Knob, and each week, I increased the inversion angle, finally arriving at full inversion. Doing the process slowly, is also a great way for your ankles to get used to being held and supporting your body weight. I have read reviews of some customers complaining of the ankle system being uncomfortable ! Well, for me, by the time I progressed to full inversion, I felt like I was being very well secured, and had no discomfort. Yes, I can see if some users are impatient, and try to start off with full inversion, their ankles may not feel very comfortable โ Well โ Out of the Blue โ you hanging upside down โ held by your ankles โ of course this is an unusual position and of course, it may feel uncomfortable โ My advice โ Take it slow โ let your body and ankles get used to the very easy system to use, and there shouldnโt be any ankle comfort issues โ Tip โ I find that keeping the Ankle System slightly loose, instead of being tightly clamped to your legs, aids tremendously to my comfort. I enthusiastically recommend this product, especially from Innova. It's a great table from an excellent company with a high build quality which will last. After 4 full months of daily use, I can report, for my specific condition, I have experience significant relief from my symptoms.

Easier to Assemble than Reviews Reflect
Arrived on time (in 2 days) and was packaged well. I set up a folding table so I wouldn't have to bend so much, and assembled the product on the floor near where it was going to live. I skimmed through the assembly manual and took my time identifying the parts for each step--they're identified with clear pictures. The hardware is all labeled and organized into one big blister pack, and has the screws and what-not separated into individual blister packs that were each in turn well labeled and isolated by what step they would be used in. I unpacked everything and laid it all out on my table by steps, except for the hardware in the blister packs which I opened as needed when the time came. I read many reviews which talked about pieces not fitting, missing pieces, and stripped screws, but hoinestly, that was not my experience at all. First, if something is not lining up properly, it is likely because you tightened the screws before the instructions told you to. If you are missing pieces, it is because you lost them yourself--the blister packs leave no likelihood that they would forget to include what you need. And finally, if you have stripped screws, it is because you tightened them down much further than they needed to be tightened. The nuts have nylon inserts to keep them from loosening on the bolts. You do not have to be Godzilla when tightening the bolts--just tight, not the tightest bolt in all creation. I also used my own ratchet wrench, box wrench, and Philips screwdriver, although they provide you with some cheap tools. It took me about an hour to an hour and a half, between unpacking, managing the garbage (everything is wrapped in plastic and separated with pieces of cardboard and Styrofoam, and is a lot to throw away, but I used the original box and everything fit quite nicely for the recycle man), and taking my time to read the directions and examine the pictures, but the directions are fairly simple and cover everything you need to know. Seriously, if you have any difficulty assembling this product you should not be anywhere near tools. In that case, I suggest that you pay the extra money for assembly. As far as how it worked once it was assembled, I was very satisfied. My chiropractor recommended that I start with 30-60 degrees, for 3 minutes, and three sets before bed. I quickly progressed further in both time and angle to levels I felt comfortable with. I found the ankle locks comfortable, but you can also reverse them (putting the rear pads in front and the front pads in the rear) if you find that more comfortable. Again, you really don't need to lock your ankles in extremely tightly. You will slide down slightly when inverted, but if you balance yourself properly (again, according to the directions) it shouldn't be a problem--to return back to the starting positions, just bend your knees a little bit and use the handle bars. I found the lumbar support a little uncomfortable at first, but I got used to it after the first day and now find it very comfortable. When I pivot back up, I found that if I do a very slow, Pilates-style roll down to reach the ankle release mechanism, I feel each individual vertebrae crack, much to my satisfaction. I was initially afraid to make any quick movements, so I was cautious because I felt so loose, but I have since become more confident. I do recommend that when you return back up, that you pause in the flat position for a few seconds so that you don't get dizzy. After the first day, my sciatica was gone. After the 2nd day, my chronic stiff neck and my lower-back pain were gone. My chiropractor has the Teeter (which he bought on OFFERUP used for $50). It is an older one without the extended ankle mechanism, but was in pristine condition. I looked into the Teeter, but it was 4 times the price of the Innova. The Teeter controls your angle with a nylon strap, where this one does it with a heavy duty pin, and the Teeter has a hard plastic tabletop (which is not adjustable for height), where the Innova is padded and quite comfortable. I am glad I decided on this one versus the Teeter. I hope this helps.

Sturdy and fits our needs perfectly
I was looking for sturdy inversion table, and this fit my need perfectly. I have two herniated discs and need this therapy to help relieve pain. It wasn't too hard to put together. I like the way it adjusts, doesn't hurt my ankles and feels secure. I like the fact I can remove the pillow that fits in the arch of the back. That was a plus for me because it agitates my herniated disc. All in all it's a great piece of equipment and fits our needs perfectly.

Love
I love this, i didn't have to put it together though. I had to work my way up to i think i'm at 35 or whatever. Treat it with respect you cannot go full inversion for long periods of time off rip. I went from 2 mins with a break in between, then 3 with breaks and now 5 with a break after 3 mins. I just sit there for a min or so after coming back up. You must bend you knees pushing down a bit in order to start coming up making sure your arms are flat to the ground. Do not come up quick go very slow, you don't want your organs reloading that fast. At first i was getting a headache during the session, i regularly get them anyway. If i don't use it for a day or so i get a slight one but i've learned to gently massage. They'll either show up or not but it's not often anymore and not full blown. This machine is very nice looking and sturdy, i never feel like ima fall off or onto to my head. Gotta make sure the height is set correctly with the pin secured. Once i went up in degree i slid very slightly so may need to re-adjust for shorter height. I feel no need to because i'm fine where i'm at and my feet and legs be secure as can be. There was no missing parts, bends or cosmetic issues. The pad is nice and soft, there's no way i can hop on a bare board and be comfy. I looked at the teeter and didn't like the price or the unpadded table ugh. This right here, i'm 1000% satisfied thanks to all the reviews. For my back i didn't notice any changes right away. It's slowly progressing to minimize my pain all over. It's a must have and i should've gotten one a long time ago.
