The best pan for one-person cooking!
I got this mini tamagoyaki pan almost two years ago for $16 and it has been the best pan! I have been using it twice a day, almost every day and nothing has stuck and the coating has not chipped. I originally bought this to make a rolled omelette for one but I found the max capacity to be 4 jumbo eggs, less if you add lots of veggies to your omelette. I also make little “hotdog octopus” by cutting 2 hotdogs in half at a time. I can fit 2 of bacon cut up and cook well. It can fit 6 Bibigo Mandu at a time. Asparagus cut into thirds fit well too. I can make buttermilk pancake that rises all the way to the top and the curve at the end makes it easy to get a spatula underneath to flip it. I usually cook one serving of meat or tofu (3-4oz) whether it is a steak, sliced, or ground without any issues. It is my favorite pan and I don’t mind cooking one item at a time. I don’t have the concentration for multiple pans and I dread washing large pans. I can wash this in 30 seconds because it’s tiny. I use a soft sponge or a soft bamboo bristle brush and there has been no damage. If you buy it, remember to never put it on a high flame that is bigger or encapsulates the pan. That is the mistake many do with nonstick and damage the nonstick coating with their impatience. My stove top has large flames and a #2 setting is perfect. It heats up well and cooks fast.

It’s smaller than I thought, but it works fine.

Perfect size
Perfect size for eggs in egg sandwich. Same for grilled cheese.

This pan is small.
Nicely made but just too small. Upsize and you'll be able to add a filling and roll a nice omlette.

Definitely 5 stars
One use and I’m in love. I just made the most beautiful tamagoyaki I’ve ever made, I had no problems with the pan. The egg didn’t stick at all.

Excellent
Excellent for small one or two egg tamagoyakis. Non-stick works well.

poor design, will lead to burns
I saw the reviews where people said they grabbed the handle and were burned. Well, I should have listened as I just made my first eggs and was burned when I went to grab the handle and that was after looking at it and actually thinking about it before cooking the eggs. The plastic part of the handle is plenty big enough to grab but you need to be paying attention. I just forgot. It is too easy to grab the metal part of the handle which gets as hot as the rest of the pan. I have no other pans in our large collection (including other mini pans) where this has been a problem. Poor design and now regretting this purchase. It moots any good thing about the pan like the fact that it is totally non-stick. Update: I need to add that I bought this because I thought my eggs would fit my toast. It is the right size for that but the problem is I have not once been able to flip two eggs without breaking them. Because this is rectangle, when you try to get under the eggs with a spatula from the long end with the slant all the eggs do is bunch up toward the other side. Honestly, I have not once flipped the eggs with the eggs staying intact and I have used this abut a dozen times now. I have not tried making little omelets and the one I got is too small for that anyways. One egg probably would work better but I'm not a one egg guy.

Too small for induction!
It’s so small, the induction sensor prevents the hob powering on. The larger one is fine.
