There are SO many baby monitors out there these days.. I had a different monitor (Infant Optics), prior to bringing my son home, but I quickly realized it wasn't going to meet my needs as a parent of two! I didn't like NOT being able to SEE both babies at the same time. So I started asking friends and researching for a split screen monitor, and was pointed toward the BabySense monitor. It comes with two monitors, non-wifi, and everything can be done directly from the parent unit. Tilting/Panning cameras, light adjusting, volume, music/white noise, and more.. While the sound can switch back and forth or stay on one single camera, the parent unit shows BOTH babies. It also has an option for sound alerting (doesn't work for us because we use a sound machine but most new mothers become light sleepers as it is). Fast forward almost a year, one of the cameras started to get "hazy" and the video quality was deteriorating. I contacted BabySense through Amazon and explained the situation. A representative gave me some troubleshooting instructions, which I gladly tried. Unfortunately they still didn't work and after a couple of attempts the Rep apologized for the inconvenience and promptly sent a new camera. I got the new camera within a few days and attempted to set it up.. this time the parent monitor kept shutting off and wouldn't turn back on. I tried some of the troubleshooting solutions the Rep had showed me on how to reset the monitor, but still nothing. I reached back out and within a few days I was sent a new Parent Monitor! If you've gotten thus far in my story thanks for hanging in there with me but I want to express how much I LOVE this monitor. I give it a 5 Star rating and their costumer service a 6 star rating for being prompt, personable and fast acting! With ALL of that being said, you won't regret the purchase of a BabySense (2 camera) Monitor!

This is a pretty good price, glad I bought it. I love that it shows the temperature and the picture is clear enough I can see my child breathing. The battery lasts for several hours but you have to keep it plugged in at night otherwise you'll wake in a panic because the low battery sound is loud and you can't turn it off. The camera also didn't turn down far enough to see my childs crib so I had to put a small towel under it to point it further down. Other than that, I like this unit and would buy again Update: I've had this monitor for about 10 months and it's worked great until recently. My monitor started having problems and one of the cameras wouldn't register the temperature. I contacted the seller and they called me back within a day. After some quick troubleshooting, the tech determined i needed a new monitor and camera so he mailed them out immediately. I received them within a few days and everything works perfect now. I'm changing my review to 5 stars for the amazing customer service. Highly recommend!

UPDATE: The seller reached out to me regarding how we were sent a used non functional camera. They were unhappy that this happened and sent us a New Camera system. After using it for a month I am very pleased to change my review form one star to 4 even 4 1/2 if I could. I would give it a 5 but the only feature that I felt was missing was the ability to hear both rooms at the same time. The system cycles back and forth after a few seconds which is great but sometimes we like to catch a kid stirring early to put them back down. Pros: The video quality is perfect. No connection issues where the video disconnects. The clarity is the best I have seen as we have used multiple cameras. The remote system for moving the camera has great range almost 360 when it comes to area covered in view. I would highly recommend this product, and I greatly appreciate this seller for correcting the error. Great camera and great service. Thank you! (Old Post): As soon as I opened the amazon box there was a frown on my face. I saw the inside box was torn at the corners as if someone struggled to open it. Instant regret of purchase. I then said maybe they didn't like some spec so lets give it a try. I opened up everything and set them in place. Plugged in the hand held monitor to realize it was not working and is broken. I even went to the extent of opening the back and checking to make sure the battery was not disconnected. SO... I was shipped a used broken product though I was guaranteed a new purchase. I don't know if this review is based on the product sucked because it didn't work or because (I edited what I wrote here based on how kind the seller was in contacting me and correcting the error)

Only camera system I have used for past 8 years and love it!!! I recently had to purchase another controller, which is cheaper to buy a whole set which comes with additional cameras. Pairs up with 4 cameras, so the additional cameras I used to place in the play room and outside screened-in area. Love that it dies NOT need connection to the internet, which gave me peace of mind knowing no one can break into the system and view anything. Good reach with every camera placed throughout home, has a light, white noises, abd 2 way speaker. Battery charges fast on the monitor and it can be carried throughout areas with no cord. I would recommend and purchase, yet again, if need be.

Update: I am coming back to update and lower my rating. I will not buy a baby sense monitor again. My monitor is barely a year old and with all the previous issues stated below, I am now having issues with it keeping a charge. I contacted an Amazon representative and one said they would give me a refund. When I didn’t receive that refund in the amount of days they said I contacted Amazon again and was told I would not receive a refund and to contact baby sense. I then contacted Babysense and it’s been 4 days and nothing has been resolved or have helped me in anyway like I was told. I WILL NOT buy Babysense again and I don’t recommend this monitor with all the issues I’ve had. It’s not worth it in my opinion. I’m so frustrated with the company and with Amazon for making me go back and forth and telling me one thing and then going back on what they told me. So frustrated and if I could I would give them no stars for this product. So disappointing. I would honestly like to love this monitor, but I’ve been having so many issues with the battery, the screen freezing on the black baby sense screen or freezing when I switch to the second camera. The buttons also glitch and spazz out. I will click the buttons to move the camera and it will freeze and then all of a sudden either move really fast or move the opposite direction (I am not clicking the buttons fast to move the camera)! I have had to pull the battery out a crazy amount of times to “reset” the monitor and I’m honestly tired of doing it! I shouldn’t have to! I love the fact it moves so well around the room and the night vision is great, but all the issues I’ve had with it is overshadowing it. The only reason I’m giving it a 2 star rating is because of those positives. Like I said I would like to love this monitor and I would if all the glitches and battery issues would stop.

Great clear view, big screen, clear sound, easy functions, durable, especially the plug connector, truly a great product. I had a Motorola model for several years, cost three times as much. Plus the cable connection broke on the motorola that I had and also broke on another newer motorola model my parents had. I wish I had this Babysense from the start. *** Update Review - The monitor started having issues in which it would not stay on. This occurred just short of a year of owning it. I went to the baby sense website with my issue and was contacted the very same day that they would be sending me a new one. Short and sweet I love it. The customer service rep was very pleasant and helpful. Can't wait to get the new monitor as I really enjoy this product. *** New Monitor was sent so I plugged it in and was back in business! I'v had it a couple months with no issues. Super happy the warranty and customer service was such a breeze!

We have two toddlers in separate rooms so the split screen feature is awesome to have. The picture quality is amazing and I love the temperature indicator on the screen. You can see your child perfectly even down to whether their eyes are opened or closed and breathing. Now onto the things I don’t love. The battery life is a joke. We put the babies to bed at 8:00 PM by 7:00 AM the battery is dying or completely dead already. Even with the ECO feature on where the monitor shuts off if no noise comes on the monitor for 30 seconds. The ECO feature is another annoying feature to this monitor. If you have a sound machine in your kids room, don’t even think about trying this feature. It registers every single sound even with the noise sensitivity set to come on only if a louder noise is heard. For example, a bug hit the outside of the bedroom window and turned the monitor on. The split screen feature is nice as well, however when using it, the monitor is so zoomed in with it that it cuts off half of each child so if they’re not centered in their bed forget about seeing their heads. However, you can set the monitor to loop between cameras every 10 seconds so the split screen feature isn’t really that important. All in all, I’m not planning on returning this monitor but I also wouldn’t recommend it either. I was definitely disappointed in the product after reading all of the great reviews. If they improved battery life and fixed the sensitivity issue then I would love it.

Wouldn’t turn on. Put in box to return. Our other monitor finally died for good so we had to unbox and give it another try. It worked. After two months it started to just cut out and turn off randomly. Some times in the middle of the night. Now it’s too late to return. In addition the cameras move very quick and hard to position just right. Wouldn’t recommend. Update: this company has great customer service. They told me what to check to remedy the issue but then also offered a refund as well. I took the refund and bought their newer model with the 5” screen. Works great! One of the only monitors I can find that actually toggles between both cameras so you don’t have to pick which kid to hear. Thanks again. Definitely recommend.
