BB at Play XLarge Color in Treats N Eats Playhouse Craft Activity for Kids

This was a big hit at our family Christmas gathering. The kids loved playing in it and I think the adults had the most fun decorating it! Cardboard was durable & it was fairly easy to set up.

Got this to entertain the family's kids prior to our Thanksgiving meal. All kids, ages 3 to 8, had so much fun! I did pre-color the brown background so the kids could focus on the fun details (bought bulk brown markers on Amazon). House was easy to transport to host's home and was easily set up. Kids colored and played in it all day. Some adults even joined in the coloring. Now the house is in my family room, where the 3 yr old continues to play in it daily. I will check out the other fun designs by Bankers Box for other events/playtime. So affordable and durable. And downright cute!

This cardboard gingerbread playhouse is so fun! It was easy to put together and much sturdier than I expected. The kids loved coloring and decorating it, and it kept them busy for a long time. It’s big enough for them to actually play inside and makes a great screen-free activity for the whole family. Perfect for holiday fun and creative play!

Fun for kids! Only downside was the way it shipped. It’s folded on spots other than where it naturally is supposed to bend so it creates some weak spots in the structure. But it’s after Christmas now and it folded back down fine so I’ll give it a decent mark on durability. The doors with probably be the first fail as it’s already started ripping. All and all…I wouldn’t count probably buy another on sale.

I ordered this in early and took a lot of time painting it. I have three grandchildren under three years old and they give it a hard workout. Because of that, after the second time playing with it, I decided to reinforce the inside with corrugated plastic. The next time they played with it, we decided that they needed lights inside so we added a string of Christmas lights across the top. Then the next time we decided they needed interior decor. That’s where things stand now. I’m not sure what else we could add, but I’m sure we will add it if we think about it. It’s an adorable little house that sits next to the gingerbread themed Christmas tree. It’s a fun toy for them and an adorable decoration for our great room.

This was really fun for the little kids last Christmas! Even the older kids were coloring on it! The little kids played inside it, well into February. Honestly, it was still holding up, I was just wanted a change. The kids really loved having a little house they could go in and out of, open doors and windows, and also color on! It was crazy easy to put together, and very sturdy. Even the cats loved it! Will definitely buy more!

Kept my son busy for months after Christmas. Pretended Santa set it up for him.

We purchased this for our 1.5 year old daughter and her similarly aged cousins to have something to do while at our house for the holidays. It was a smash hit! They played together for hours coloring and loved pretend play inside the house as the doors open/close for functional use. Incredible entertainment value!

One I received it was not damaged at all and packed very well. It is nice activity for parent and child.

Unlike another Bankers Box "playhouse to color" we bought previously, this one was brown cardboard on the inside. This makes it dark inside, and also not good for creative drawing and colouring to decorate inside the playhouse. So less than half the play value if it was white inside also, like previous versions. Fire the bean counter who cut 10 cents of cost on a $66 item, but cut the quality by half.

This product is pretty expensive but my kids ages 2 to 8 all loved it and did for 3 months. After it’s been coloured it’s a great fort or nerf gun base. Recommend for sure.
