Fabulous, delicious, yummy mini-truffles at a reasonable price!
After reading ALL of the reviews I crossed my fingers and hit PLACE YOUR ORDER. I was rewarded. These truffles are every bit as good as the ones I used to buy in Montreal and Quebec City at $3 a truffle, golf ball size (circa 1975). They are just mini sized and there are dozens of them in every bag. They arrived in perfect condition and we are keeping them in 65F to 70F storage and enjoying them 2 or 3 at a time. So glad we took a chance on these!

Chocolate Velvet Heaven
I keep re-purchasing these lovely truffles, as I have never tasted a chocolate as satisfying, as rich, as delicious as these small treats.I give them as gifts. I keep a bag in the freezer for emergencies. I pop one a day in the evening. As soon as it melts and I stop swooning, I pop another. I wish there was another way to keep this flavor in my mouth at all times. Ideas? I've melted them in hot milk for a drink. I've tried them simultaneously with pistachios. Every version is a win.

Not the same truffles from the past
These truffles have drastically changed in taste. If I could have rated them zero I would have. I have been buying Chocmod Truffettes de France for years. The taste is not even close to a chocolate taste. They have always been so good and every time I had one, I wanted another one. After tasting one of these, I threw them away, they were that bad. What happened to this company?Just wanted to add that I bought these same truffettes from Costco this week and they are delicious, just like I remember. So perhaps I got a really bad batch ordering from the company on Amazon. Or they were repackaged as something else.

Great! FYI, this is a lot of truffles
I bought these for Christmas and the whole outfit is two boxes with two bags in each. We had some aggressive truffle shuffles in our house over Christmas and we still haven't gone through the first bag. The truffles are very good and exactly what we were hoping for there are just a lot more than we were expecting. The whole thing is a bit much for us. The second bag is headed for the freezer and the second box rest is getting sent to school with my spouse for the teacher's lounge.

Out of this world
Tried the Lyndt dark chocolate truffles as they were most readily available at the grocery. I even purchased a box (60 ct) of the Lyndt from Amazon. In looking to reorder, I noted the ingredients in Lyndt vs. Chocmod . . . Chocmod won hands down for being 'natural' and free of artificial flavorings. So being the Type A personality persona that I am, I ordered 2 boxes. If I was wrong, then I would be sorry. I am not. There is No bitter taste. At the initial outset of these melt in your mouth glories, there is an 'intense' chocolate flavor which is immediately followed by a creamy dreamy chocolate experience. I'm going for the 4 pack next time. . . I was satisfied with one whereas with Lyndt I wasn't. Can't believe what a great price these are. 1000 grams is over 2# . . . much better bang for your buck and better for you than any other option.

you get a cr*pload of truffles for the money.
you get a cr*pload of truffles for the money. it's two boxes with two foil packages in each box. so that's four foil packages in total. the chocolates were not melted together the way some reviews say. the package was delivered on the 3rd of November and the temperature was 32 degrees outside. the truffles are about the size of medium grapes. I'm no connoisseur but they taste nice and chocolaty to me. the truffles are dusted with cocoa, however lightly.

Good - not life-changing
I think these are definitely good truffles, but not spectacular. I'd honestly not put them any higher than something like Lindt truffles that I can get at the supermarket.A few years ago, we bought a box of Belgian chocolates (different brand) that were packaged suspiciously like these. Even though they arrived melted into a solid block, it was the finest chocolate I've EVER had. I was going to get them, but the price has tripled, so I figured I'd try these. These ones look like they'd started melting. If you take one out, several are stuck to it, but it's easy to pull them apart. Many have received solid blocks of chocolate and that's not what I got. And it was definitely delicious and would make for a fine gift. Just not something that special and it's doubtful I'd buy them again.
