And actually I don't like using them for burp cloths on the shoulder
I know, I know, these are quite expensive. And actually I don't like using them for burp cloths on the shoulder, because the spit-up seeps right through them onto your clothes. BUT they are GREAT - I mean, really indespensable - for baby wearing. I fold one (or two!) up and tuck it under the edges of my baby wrap so that it forms a sort of multi-layered barrier over my chest. If you've ever gotten a whole bunch of spit up inside your shirt and your bra, you will know why this is so great. What makes these *in particular* good for this is that they are a perfect size and very thin, not bulky at all like flannel burp cloths. And the designs are so cute! We got a set for our baby shower but then bought a second set because they were so handy for baby wearing. They are also great for wiping spit up off the chin - once you wash them a few times, they are super absorbent.

Love these!
I have four daughters, my last one a baby now, so I have seen a lot of burp cloths in my life. These are by far my favorites - they are soft, absorbant, and thin (so not bulky), but smaller than a blanket so I can stuff them in the diaper bag or over my shoulder or over the bib of the baby carrier or in my pocket, wherever I need to. Plus of course they have beautiful prints on them, but they would still be my favorites if they were just white. Christmas is coming up and I'm getting some more "for the baby" (but really for me); also, putting these on my go-to baby shower gift ideas list. Love them!

Great for diaper bags
My sister gave my an elephant print from Milkbarn and I knew I wanted more. I actually bought these to be a gift for my sister in law but my car attacked the package and pulled some of the strings so I kept them. I love having this small size to throw in the diaper bag or car seat. The prints are cute and the quality is great. I would have way more items but they are on the spendier side and, let's be honest, we go through so much that I'm more price conscious on items like this that you can find for cheaper but still do the job. They hold up great.

Adorable!
These are just like half size swaddle blankets but the designs are really adorable. I was in love with aden & anais blankets before, but now I wish I had these in the blanket size instead. They're much cuter. As far as the burp cloths, they are thin but absorbent and soft. I prefer them over some thicker ones that I have, that seem to keep the liquid on the surface. My only complaint is that they're made in China and quite expensive for what they are.

Still love after a year.
I love these. They are very soft compared to the aden + anais musy squares I have as well. I like them both but these are nicer. Not gonna lie they are crazy expensive imo but if organic is important to you they are worth it. They are thin but folded in half on my shoulder I never had a problem with them. In fact I prefer them now over thicker ones. My son no longer spits up but he still uses them to teethe on and fall asleep with. I sometimes use them as a light blanket over his legs. Plus they are super cute.

Good for other purposes also
At this point in time I rate this item with 5 stars but I really haven't had it that long to give a full review. With that said it came with no defects and have washed x1 without shrinkage or unraveling. I do not use it as a "burp" cloth but more as a scarf when sleeping and this is working perfect as it is the right size and weight. I have very short hair and my neck and ears get very cold in the winter and I dislike the blankets over my head and this is a perfect solution.

Not really useful as a burp cloth.
Definitely not thick enough to be used as an actual burp cloth. Gave it three stars for the pattern which is extremely cute. I had them sewn onto white cotton burp cloths so that they'd be a useful gift for a friend. She really liked them! Also if you're familiar with Milkbarn's Lovey's...these are not as soft. Too bad.

Amazing
I got some of these as a gift 2.5 years ago at my baby shower. We still use these all the time! A great size and lovely fabric. Soooo many uses - burp cloth, Sun cover, wash cloth, stuffed animal blanket, head prop . . . I’ve gifted some to all the new babies in my life ever since!
