This review is for the Colorado Home Co Silk Pillowcase in Light Blue Queen Size option: I took a bit of a gamble on trying to find a silk pillowcase as I have sensitive skin, cannot stand anything rough under my cheek or against my neck, and my hair tangles and breaks very easily. I usually purchase cotton pillow cases with high thread counts to try to fit my needs. I can only say - I am so so glad I bought two of these at the same time. I have one on each of my standard size bamboo pillows (though the size says 'Queen') and they fit like a glove. I live in a hot climate, so the possibility of it being sticky or sweat inducing was a real concern. After having my first night's sleep on them, I can say these are perfect even for a hot and humid climate. They're soft, light weight, and easy to snuggle and fall asleep with. If you have pets, though, make sure you tuck these upright to make your bed - they will try to snuggle them, too! (And pets, as we all know, have nails which catch on these beauties.) The only remaining comments I have regard the care for these silky wonders - Please do follow the directions to reach the best use of the product: Turn it inside out and zip it partway closed before hand washing in cool water, with a little bit of fabric softener and a very little bit of gentle body wash or shampoo (or the special silk wash, if its in your budget) already dissolved in the water. Let it soak, gently wash it up between your hands, and rinse it out well. Then let it soak again with a good rinsing to get the suds fully out. Hang it to dry with some pants or skirt hangers clipped to the zipper, and shift the clips after a bit to let it dry evenly and without crinkling the fabric. I'm going back for more of these as gifts (and for myself) after my next paycheck! Well worth the investment.

It’s a challenge to decide which silk pillowcase to buy—so many manufacturers. Spent way more time than I wanted to, plowing through all the descriptions and reviews. Probably because I felt guilty spending this much money for a pillowcase when I have really nice cotton ones. But my hair is longer now and a mess to deal with in the mornings, needed help. Chose this one because of the Oeko-Tek certification and positive reviews. Tried the navy blue one—would have preferred a lighter color but was concerned about staining it from face creams, though haven’t found that to be an issue at all so far. After using for several weeks to see how it held up, just bought a second one to have while other one is in laundry. So far so good. I had been hand-laundering the first one in a silk wash, but hand-washing is not a priority for me, to say the least. I washed the new one in a mesh bag on cold, gentle, hang-dried it and it turned out fine. What I particularly like, besides the weight and feel of the silk itself, which is good, is the sewing. All seams were done properly, the zipper worked well and was not too heavy for the fabric, nor was it noticeable. Yes, I definitely can tell the difference promised with less-messed hair in the morning, that’s the reason I decided to spring for silk—seems indulgent—but it seems to be working. As for face wrinkling, I have no idea, maybe. That would be a big bonus. The fabric is very comfortable, no sliding around as I feared. The silk is cool now, in the winter, but concerned about the hotter months—time will tell. My only complaint is the width of the cases. I have to struggle to get my queen size pillows into the case without straining the zipper. These could stand to be a bit wider or the zipper length longer or sturdier somehow. As an end note, I’m sure there’s other brands likely as good. I just couldn’t spring for the more expensive ones—too many other places my money needs to go. The price here was a good balance. I wouldn’t have chanced the much cheaper ones because likely corners were cut somewhere.

I held off for a while but finally bought this after reading a bunch of reviews—and I’m so glad I did. It’s totally worth the price. It feels amazing to sleep on, it’s made really well, and it holds up great in the wash. I just toss it in with my sheets and air dry, and it still looks and feels like new. Bonus: I’ve noticed my hair doesn’t feel as greasy in the morning. It was highly recommended, and I have to say, I totally agree.

It is a very nice pillow case to sleep on and the champagne color is pretty. I haven't used it a lot yet or washed it so am not sure about the value for the money. I got the case in Queen and it fits well. I had not torn seems or trouble with the zipper which others have reported.

Bought for my daughters as a bougy gift. They loved them. But keep in mind to hang dry or hang wash. They will wrinkle a lot in dryer.

This silk pillowcase from the Sunday Silks Collection of Colorado Home Co is heavy, it’s hand is thicker than others I’ve tried. The color is deep (I got royal blue) and rich, so rich. The pillowcase doesn’t wrinkle all up under ones cheek, but remains cool and smooth. I don’t know about all the health claims but I do know my hair doesn’t tangle on silk and silk doesn’t drag against my skin as I move. The few extra dollars I spent on my gorgeous dark, shimmery blue pillowcase is worth it. Colorado Home Co and their Sunday Silks Collection have one happy customer, one who will return. p.s. the packaging it came in is simply adorable, it wouldn’t snag or tangle this lovely silky gem.

Softness is definitely 👍 and still solid and soft! Zipper is strong! Silk content is high and solid! No static. I followed directions to wash, put it in a wash bag! Then in washing machine with other items. I air dried it and pressed. I purchased a blue color was perfect! Well worth the money. My dermatologist and hair stylist recommended I use it! I recommend this company!

Thinking of small, thoughtful presents isn’t easy! So glad I found my new “go to” gift. The organic silk feels incredibly soft on my face, makes me wonder why I’ve slept on cotton for so long. Love love love. I need to buy some more, wrap them at home and send some to my friends interstate that I haven’t seen all year (Covid sucks). Literally the perfect gift, ticks all the boxes 🥰

Doesnt feel like 100% silk (maybe some satin) and caused a pimple breakout (did test of not using for a few nights). Not for sensitive skin.

If you are looking for a "REAL" silk pillowcase this is the one you should buy. It came quicker than expected to Canada, shipped in a beautiful box (but truth be told which will just end up in recycling - I would rather have the price knocked down a bit and do away with the box). Slept on it last night and it looked like i didn't even need to comb my hair. Every morning I would wake up with knots in the back and side of my head this morning nothing was so nice and it not sure if it is the silk or just my imagination but the pillow stayed cool all night (bonus). Recommendation to seller as much as I loved the box - maybe that could be an option for those that are gifting and take a few dollars off the price if regular packaging. Regardless of that I just ordered another one as I wanted to see how this one was before I ordered 2. Also, I should note I did not do the silk test with the little square that comes with the box, because honestly in my opinion anyone could put a real piece of silk in packaging and then make the product different, but this does feel like real silk, felt so good on my face and as per my Fitbit I had the best sleep score in months. Win Win

La seda natural es hipoalergénica, mantiene los niveles de hidratación en la piel y por su estructura molecular no daña la barrera cutánea por fricción; además, es súper fresca y eso ayuda a mantener los niveles de pH en la piel. Dormir con fundas convencionales poco a poco envejece el rostro, ya que lo somete a un estrés de deshidratación, fricción y temperaturas no ideales durante cada noche. También es beneficiosa para el cabello. Yo tengo rizos y cada mañana me levantaba con enredos, pelos en la almohada o con partes demasiado aplastadas. Con esta funda mi cabello ya no se enreda, he dejado de notar pelos en la almohada y me resulta mucho más fácil reanimar los rizos a la mañana siguiente. Recomiendo ampliamente este producto. Llegó en tiempo y en orden, la funda tiene una cremallera interna, y el color azul le da ese toque de elegancia. Voy a comprar nuevamente para mis otras almohadas. Otra cosa importante es que ya la sometí dos veces a lavado y la funda sigue intacta: lavé con agua fría y a mano con un poco de vanish líquido disuelto previamente. La sequé al natural y a la sombra. Quedó perfecta. No se encogió, ni se decoloró ni las costuras se han deteriorado. Si te gusta la calidad premium, si te gusta el skincare y si te gusta cuidar tu cabello, este producto es para ti.
