We use these for a nonprofit organization that runs a lot of fish fries, and they’ve worked very well for our setup. The 10-inch size fits the funnel perfectly in our fryer filtering system and stays positioned properly during use. The material handles hot oil without tearing, which is important when you’re filtering repeatedly throughout an event.They do a good job removing crumbs and sediment, helping us extend the life of the oil during long fry days. When you’re cooking in volume, keeping the oil cleaner between batches makes a noticeable difference, and these filters perform consistently in that role. They’re not the thickest or most heavy-duty filters on the market, which is the only reason I’m giving four stars instead of five, but for the quantity and price, they’re a strong value.For churches, civic groups, or nonprofits running regular fish fries or similar events, these are a practical and cost-effective option that get the job done.

they smell awful. Bought these a long time ago and just used them.... opened up the bag to smell dirty fish, tried to use it anyways and it made all the oil smell like old fish oil . Had a faulty batch but customer service reached out immediately to fix... Will definitely buy from them again!

I’ve used these filters to filter both peanut oil from my 4L deep fryer and motor oil from some of my cars for other usesWhen filtering, things will filter faster if the oil is warm. I heat the peanut oil to about 140-150°F and use an infrared thermometer gun to check the temp to know when its warm enough to filter.

Actualizado 9-Sep-2023:Después de comparar la rafia comprada localmente con el filtro, no es correcto mi comentario anterior. El filtro es de un material mejor y filtra muy bien. Decidí seguir comprando el filtro y cambiar mi comentario y calificación.Comentario Previo: El filtro cumple su propósito, sin embargo su manufactura es de baja calidad. Es como una tela gruesa que conozco como rafia y de haber sabido lo compro en la tienda de telas.
