Problems from the very first use--then MAGIC!
This product was a problem from the minute it came out of the box. It leaked from the tube going from the powerpack to the body. I sealed that with a product I had to buy; but it still leaked. I could not ascertain whether it was leaking from somewhere else on the powerpack, the body, or both. The baffle heat retention float does not hold air for more than 2 days, and needs to constantly be blown back up. Within a couple of days, the powerpack was unable to heat the water above 85 degrees, which rendered the spa useless. The seats don't stay fastened to the body,. they constantly come undone. VERY DISAPPOINTED!UPDATE:Because of my chronic back (spine) pain, I decided to give the airispa another shot, since it is the only oval, instead of round, 2 person spa on the market-that, I could find, anyway. I bought another one. That was 8 months ago; and I'm happy to say I LOVE IT!!!First of all, it is big enough for 2 average size adults. The "jets" are only holes that the pressurized water shoots through. They are strong enough to push my 140 lb body all over, if I let them. I usually use it for 3 20 min. cycles, everyday, usually, all in a row. In that hour, the water drops from a toasty 104 degrees to a still warm 98. I use non-chlorine, non-bromine sanitizer to maintain the water. It does not dry my skin. The powerpack sounds like a fish tank when the jets aren't engaged. I took out both cushions, so that the water goes up to my neck when filled to the waterline. My electric bill has shown no big jump...maybe $5-10/month. I drain it with a pump every 3 or 4 months, no big deal. I use that time to put a little more air in it, though it doesn't need much. I keep a rotation of 2 filters, which I change and clean every week. I reuse them for a couple of months, then replace. As an added tip...I recommend you fold the cover back in half, then lay the baffle on top, and pull it close to you like a blanket to keep the water warmer for longer when you are in it by yourself. As for the previous problems, no leaks anywhere. I have put about about 4 breaths of air into the baffle since I first blew it up. It and the solar cover keep the spa nice and toasty.Let me put it this way...if for some reason I had to sell everything I own, my computer and my airispa would be the last things standing!Oh, and lastly...if you are on the fence about getting the color wrap, GET IT. It adds an extra layer of protection, and looks MUCH better. I got the red.

and for good reason!
worked well for ONE season. After that, the seams started to come apart around the center table. At the end of two seasons, it completely fell apart and I threw it away. Heater worked HALF the time. I'm sure this company has gone out of business......and for good reason!

You can find better prices that what Amazon sells them for
I had nothing but problems with the airispa from the moment I unpackaged it and took it out of the box. The body was leaking air and I had to add air every 2-3 days. The seats do NOT stay fastened and the last time the seats surfaced it tore one of the fasteners off of the bottom of the seat. The inflatable top has two sections. One half holds air, the other does not. The manufacturer does stand behind their spa's and they did send out a replacement. To date the replacement has not leaked. You do have to check the spa often and stay on top of your chemicals. I am using bromide in mine and have scum bugs that I float in the spa. As for the seat issue I canned the inflatable seats that came with the spa and ordered some Intex Pure Spa Seats. You can find better prices that what Amazon sells them for. I got mine for half the price and ordered two. I also ordered the Intex head rests. When I jump in my spa I want a true spa experience. I also purchased an additional spa liner to help hold in the heat. It looks like bubble wrap and I could cut it to shape. It helps keep my spa at a constant 100 degrees. The jets are strong enough for me. I am a 5'6" 130 lb woman. When you turn on the jets they automatically go off in 15 minutes which is not long enough for my liking so I reset it and use it for a total of 30 minutes which is just right for me. My main reason for purchasing this spa was the size and the shape. Like Bobru said above it is the only oval 2 person spa I could find in this size. I also liked the look with the skin. I chose green and I love it.Would I recommend this spa to others? If you could rest assured that the spa you receive is free of all defects and doesn't have any leaks, then yes, by all means.
