Can I put my ipad into this mount and then rotate it so it is facing down at my desk in order to film me drawing from above?

Is the clamp cheap plastic, good quality plastic, or a better material? last stand I bought was cheap plastic and broke >:c

I have a normal size I-pad with a very heavy protective case on it.... (my husband bought it, so I us it) I too, was worried about it being strong enough to hold my I pad in the case. It exceeded my expectations. It hold it fine and I can turn and rotate my I pad depending on if I’m laying or sitting in bed. There is nothing cheap about this product. It is very sturdy.

Anybody used this on a plane to watch movies? My cheap flight isn't going to have built-in entertainment.

I wouldn’t. To long and and don’t know what you would clamp it too. Might also be shaky

Quality is brilliant, the arm has girth, unlike someone I know but the clamp which holds it onto desk is very small and not adequate in my humble opinion

触りごこちや可動域／安定性も他社製の物と比べるとてもよいです。耐久性は、以前同じ物を購入して使っていて３年くらい使い込んで壊れて他社製の物を購入し使ってみたが１年ぐらいで壊れたのでかなり良いと思います。

The only thing to be sure of that the clamp fits the width of the table or desk. The space I had in mind to use this, it was too wide and the clamp didn’t fit. Aside from that, it a superior quality.
