Reading Skills: Grade 4 (Flash Kids Harcourt Family Learning)

Very open & go material. Easy to understand the concepts it is teaching. The reading is engaging along with the illustrations. We are soon to finish this book and have already ordered the next one.

I bought this for my fourth grade son who needed a little practice in this area. It has been a great tool. I love that the texts are long and boring. They teach them reading comprehension through short text vs. Long, dragged out texts. He hates reading comprehension assignments but he never complains about this book.

This is a great resource and supplement to help reinforce reading skills. It helps build their reading comprehension and their confidence as well. I have tried many different workbook brands to supplement in our homeschool and these are the best! I haven’t been impressed with the 180 days of or the DK workbooks.

Great product! Allow for your student to practice reading skills at their level as well as provide the ability to stretch their skills!

I've used Grades 2, 3, and 4 in this series with the children I tutor. They love the social studies, science, and history high-interest stories, and I love the varied reading skills that this book covers-- comprehension, sequence, context (includes a small amount of vocabulary), main idea, conclusion, and inference. Highly recommended!
