Got this for myself and cried at the introduction. ( hormones I suppose). I read a story here and there while nursing or before bed. Great to know some struggles I've dealt with with me being a new mom are common and I'm not alone. Ordered one for an expecting mom for a gift.

I really love this book. I do not read often but I needed something to read while pumping at work and not only was the book a great read it also made me feel more connected to my baby while I was at work.

There's nothing like being a first time mommy. This was a really nice book to read in the first months after my daughter was born. I loved reading about other women's experiences as a mom and it reminded me that I am not alone when I was sleep deprived! Great book, I would recommend it for all moms.

I'm a big fan of the "Chicken Soup" Series anyway, and being a new mom, was excited to get this book. It delivered as I thought it would. Lots of stories about the woes & wonders of being a mom & of course lots of tears to go with them!

My daughter loves these books and started reading them in high school. I bought this book for her when she was expecting her first child. She loved it. These books are good for shower gifts.

Really helped me have a more positive and excited perspective about having a baby. It also beautifully highlights the sacrifices mothers make for their own kids. I would read this in between work, going to bed, etc. The short stories were definitely very heartwarming :)

love me some soup

Having just had my baby boy barely a few months ago I could identify myself with the stories and felt overwhelmed as though someone else was saying what i felt. I simply enjoyed the stories and am sure tear stained quite a few pages as well. A must read and I was more then happy to share it with my sis in law who is a new mom as well.Must buy for new moms.
