Brief introduction for most of the needed information with simple examples. Would be wonderful if it included more real world macro scripts

This book is very good but it would be wonderful if more real world problems are added. There should be description of user form also in this book.

Exactly what I needed. Got me started with the basics. Good resource materials for further studies.

There's some good information in the book, but the author does not go into enough detail. I think the examples are poorly selected and don't help much with learning how to make your own macros. I bought the book when I only had a couple of weeks of experience creating macros and most of the information was already irrelevant. I was a little disappointed with the purchase.

I really wish this had existed prior to me learning Catia v5 macro programming as its one of the only learn Catia macro docs in existence that starts at the beginning and leads you on to "proper" useful macros for the workplace.With Catia it's not working faster that's the key to greater productivity but working smarter, and with Emmett Ross's latest updated version, this is an excellent introduction to put you well on the way to automating tasks from printing docs to creating full blown models and many others, all from code. It delves into the basics of coding and shows you objects and how to structure and debug your programs.This book will save you hours of trawling through internet articles to learn macro programming for catia which I had to do (or paying thousands for courses).If you want to save your company money in repetitive tasks get this book!

For an expensive book - poor quality paper

Badly written. Lots of mistakes. Mentions lots of things without actually explaining them. At best this book gives you a start. The most useful part in it directs you to the automation help files within catia.

Not of great use.. YOu could find most of the info from this book at free of cost over internet..
