Look closely before buying. I didn't pay attention and bought this after seeing the nice reviews, but it turned out to be for the wrong model of the z flip. This case is great for the z flip, and will fit on a z flip 3, but it will also cover the camera, flashlight, and power button. If you have the z flip 3, which is very similar, look elsewhere

I am very happy with this case, it feels great and has protected my phone well from a tile floor. Of all the z flip cases I've tried this one is the best. The one little drawback is that as others have said the cutout for the fingerprint reader was not precise. I fixed it by just clipping the thin rubber piece and opening up the space with a nail clipper. Now it's cut like other cases but protects very well. I think it's great for the price and only had a solveable minor inconvenience.

The only problem is that the fingerprint reader does not work well. I had to remove the cover to use it. But it is a good cover.

I like the case s ton unfortunately I feel the Samsung z flip while super sturdy is super prone to scratches and smudges all over it's body. The case it comes with is barely a case it's more like some thin layer for scratches but an impact knocks the case clean off. I also bought dbrand skin for it but that still didn't do anything for shock and left the hinge exposed, same with the included case that Samsung provides.This case is amazing actually and the piece that sticks out when you open the hinge is actually a really great finger rest for when you're holding the phone open for reading.The size of the case is a little bulky but the phone again is super sensitive even to dust and water so this is a great case and form factor for the phone.Secondly the case feels premium and looks very nice with the matte black touch.Overall I really, really like the case.

I absolutely adore my Galaxy Z Flip and when I got it, cases were very hard to find, so I went with what was available. I've trusted Case-Mate with various electronics through the years and I've generally found their products to be well constructed and when I needed a new case, I felt confident that they would deliver. Case-Mate did not deliver on this product and I am sorely disappointed. The case is very streamlined and made by old phone look much like the newer generations. The protection on the hinge was minimal, but I trusted Case-Mate to engineer a case that would protect vulnerable elements. I WAS WRONG.This case is slippery and I found myself dropping it much more than before - it was like a bar of soap! Today, it fell out of my purse (about 3ft) while closed and that fall destroyed the screen.I'm a bit of a klutz, but I take care of my things and usually turn my phones in after 2-3+ years with appropriate wear and NO damage to the screen or other functionality.I am now buying a new phone with nothing to trade in. I am NOT PLEASED.

I have had it for 9 months. It does it's main mission. It protects my Samsung Flip Phone. I am good with that. Update: I have now had it for around two years, still love it. It has protected my phone so many times from drops. Some day when I buy a new Flip phone, I will get this same brand case.

I had the Otter Box version and it was horrible. Didn't stay on and was just a piece of plastic that offered no protection. Never heard of Case-Mate but I am glad I ordered it. Stays on with no problems. Wash it once a day with a disinfectant wipe and still looks like the day I bought it.

This is being a great phone case it is exactly as the aide said it was. I was very worried because it does not have a front screen, But I have dropped my phone several times and it has protected the screen. Overall a great product.

This is a good case except for one thing, I could get the fingerprint scanner working smoothly anymore. I fixed that by clipping away the small strip between the cutout and the screen. Now it is a perfect product :-).

A really nice case. The only one on the market that actually provides DROP protection. The Samsung Z is one smooth and slippery phone, so this case easily addresses that.The case is easy to attach to the phone, and FITS the phone perfectly.The quality of the case is very good - you will get a lot of years out of it.The failing factor of this case is fingerprint reader (which is AMAZINGLY easy and convenient on the Samsung Z) is literally rendered useless by this case. Unfortunately that's a show-stopper for me as I always use the fingerprint scanner - and therefore I have returned the case for a refund (Which came really fast!)
