ClosetMaid 1306 Stackable 2 Drawer Horiztonal Organizer, Dark Cherry

ClosetMaid 1568 Stackable 2-Drawer Horizontal Organizer is approx 15 2/4 in length ( top to bottom) 24 1/16in width ( side to side). Around the perimeter there is about 1/4 of an inch of wood surrounding the drawers. I paid 37.98 and I got the espresso color, the others cost $20 more, the drawers are super easy to repaint so get the cheapest color. Tools needed are a Philips head screw driver, a hammer or wood glue and I would recommend a tiny piece of sanding paper or a non metal nail fail because the edges are very sharp. I built mine in 45 min, on my bed as I watched a movie, so not a lot of time or space is needed to build. The directions are super easy to read and follow, everything is labeled except the screws but they have pictures and screw amounts so its easy to figure out. It also includes pieces to make the drawers stackable and mountable ( I would guess as added earth quake protection). To be so inexpensive it actually is nice quality, a lot nicer than some of the reviews would have you believe. I think the reviews of complaints it arrived broken or partly built ordered there's from the open box (discount) section of amazon, in which case broken, partly built and missing pieces is the risk you take for that nice price. Did the job and it was quick and easy to install!

I did a DIY walk in closet organizer and used a couple of these. They were simple to assemble and install in my closet. Sturdy, yet not too heavy it was hard to install. They work well and look great. Saved me a ton of money over some of the "professional" systems on the market. There were many different parts to choose and it made it easy for me to customize perfectly.

this appears to have been opened before because the box was a mess and the material inside did not have any insulation between the parts so they were dirty and scratched up, one corner was cracked but not quite all the way thru, the backing is of course cheap cardboard and was not quite large enough so you were nailing on the very edge which meant some of the edges cracked because it is just cheap glue and sawdust, the instructions are a joke so if you're not good at improvising and fitting things together for yourself then don't bother. this thing was so bad that i should have sent it back but the hasssle of repackaging it in an already messed up box and driving to the nearest ups store was just an added expense to an already over priced peice of junk, i did finally manage to cobble it together and make it work but i would never buy another, when this falls apart which it inevitably will it will just get a quick trip to the dump. save your money and time and buy elsewhere. one star was given because i couldn't give zero which it deserves.

I needed these and I like the color. I bought 3 3/4 handles to match my bathroom cabinets. The size is good. The quality is particle board so the chance of making a mistake constructing it is high. The nails of the back board, the screws, etc. can go wonky any time and chip it. But that being said, I bought extra and use best ones on the counter. I used guardz sealer in case bathroom moisture got under them. And need cork feet to help, but unless I find a real wood one the same size, I'm making do. The room is in progress but you get the idea. Three adults in one bathroom so we needed a system.

My usual experience with this type of product is the assembly is challenging. Not so with this unit. It went together easily with the instructions. Most importantly, it was a good finished product. It was square and the drawers worked well.A very good value.

I only purchased these because they were the only drawers I could find that would fit under my son’s bed. My expectations were low.Bought two. On one unit, the groove for the drawer slide is not milled deep enough, so the screw comes up short. Haven’t worked out a solution yet. If these weren’t such a pain in the butt to repack and return, I’d do just that.

I had a white one of these I had bought from somewhere else years ago but they stopped selling them. I decided I wanted a few more for my closet & picked up 3 here. They work perfect in my closet for socks & underwear & leggings or sleep shorts. They are small drawers so not suited for things like bulky sweatpants or jeans. I put each one together very easily by myself. I see a lot of reviews complaining about it being difficult to put together. I think I spent 20 minutes on each one while watching tv. I did have a powered screwdriver which helped it go a little faster, but I did the white one without and it wasn’t that difficult. Everything arrived in good condition. No scratches or dents. Overall exactly what I ordered and expected and perfect to for my needs for my closet.
