I just ordered and received this product June 2021. I wanted to try this because when I have a lot of calls to make, ear buds make my ears sore. Even with the smallest inserts. I was very happy as I really tested this out. The sound quality was great. I could control the volume while in the call. I was heard very clearly. If you have crappy cell signal you may have trouble with this or ear buds. That has nothing to do with the phone. I have spent many hours on this and my ears were saved because of it. I am very pleased with the phone and it's performance. Just plug into the earbud jack and adjust the volume if needed and you are ready to go. Nothing to program or set up. Awesome product.

As you press the volume + button on the handset, you will see on the smartphone the volume bar does go up/increase. This Retro Phone Handset in the color pink is a great value for my money. I can easily use this Retro Phone for my company marketing purposes.

Although I was excited about the vintage look and feel of the receiver, I found its functionality poor at best. Once plugged into my cell phone, the lack of sound quality was instantly noticeable. I could barely hear the person on the line and the volume button on the receiver did not work at all. There would be enormous amounts of static that prevented communication. After disconnecting the receiver from my cell phone the issues would cease. It was a novel idea and I had hoped for better results.

This is one of those purchases that’s both practical and fun! The retro design always gets comments, and it reminds me of talking on the phone years ago.It was easy to connect, the sound quality is clear, and it’s actually comfortable to hold during longer conversations. The package stated that the handset had a Type-c interface. It even showed it on the picture on the box and stated on the box that it had a type-c connector. I had to go to Walmart and purchase one.. very disappointing..the handset works well .

Sound quality is very poor but the overall product is good. It worked well with my iPhone, and served its purpose.

I really hate the way earbuds put the source of the sound within my cranium.... Now that I’m zooming all day for work, I love the way this handset keeps the sound (and radiation) outside of my head. So many people compliment me on how sweet and retro it looks. I suppose it‘s because of my gray hair, but many people believe I am somehow zooming on an old landline phone...um hello, we are seeing each other right???? I frankly do not understand why everyone does not have this! Love! I now have two of this type of device—one for my desk work-spot and one in the bedroom for personal calls. I got different brands to compare and contrast... I love them both!
