2 Litre Classic Pressure Cooker, Best Inner Lid Cooker, Small Cooker, Silver (CL20)

We absolutely loved the Hawkins Aluminium 1.5 Litre Classic Pressure Cooker. It's lightweight, easy to use, and the perfect size for a small family or couple. We recently toured Yellowstone and Grand Teton in an RV, and this pressure cooker became our go-to cooking companion. We used it for almost everything—from perfectly cooked rice and dal to delicious curries and other one-pot meals. It heated quickly, cooked efficiently, and fit perfectly in our compact RV kitchen without taking up much space. If you're looking for a reliable, compact, and high-quality pressure cooker, this is an excellent choice. It made our road trip cooking simple and enjoyable. Highly recommended!

This pressure cooker is sturdy, reliable, and works perfectly. It heats evenly and cooks food much faster while delivering great results every time. The build quality is excellent, the lid seals securely, and it’s easy to clean after use. It’s the perfect size for everyday meals and has become one of my favorite kitchen tools. Great value for the price—I would definitely purchase it again.

The worst pressure cooker. Makes a very loud sound ever few second that hurts the ears. After two uses the contents inside start spewing out as the cooker opens to release the pressure. I only wish I could return it, instead I have to throw it in the trash. On the third use of this product it became a hazard it actually shoots the hot liquid out with high pressure. This product should not be on the market I know we are smarter and have created better pressure cookers then this. If you have read this review I have most likely saved your life or a loved ones from getting injured from this products. For those that have not read it I can only pray.

I really like this low capacity pressure cooker. Saves on fuel/energy. I can now efficiently cooks small servings of tasty beans. It must be said, even if you are experienced with pressure canners, make sure to read the instructions. The lid is a little finicky. Do a couple water test to help you figure out how to align the lid and make it seal properly. The cooker comes to pressure very fast. I suspect this is how people are damaging their cookers in the low rated reviews. It will come to pressure within 1 or 2 minutes after putting the weight. If you are using other pressure cooker brands, you expect a lot more down time before you start timing your cook. I don't see why people are saying this is poorly made. It's much sturdier than my presto and parts are easy to find.

Amazon can increase its selection of shippable pressure cookers. It’s a good value and I e used it successfully but the design leaves much to be desired. Compare it to Vinod pressure cooker design. This Hawkins: is a good size ( I would not buy anything smaller if you want to get a good pressure inside the cooker) but the lid design is strange and takes awhile to practice with. The top of the cooker is curved in so stacking containers inside is insanely tricky coupled with the way the lid has to be fitted in. Almost impossible to fit 2 containers inside. I purchased it when traveling and it does the job with the high pressure cooking needs plus it’s lightweight yet strong enough to pressure cook. Plus is it’s lightweight enough to put inside a suitcase and travel .

3LT is a perfect size, good for 2 or more cups of dal...(i have only made two) but it's very good the only issue is that it stains very easily with haldi.

L'ho scelta per la capienza ridottissima, cosa abbastanza rara in una pentola a pressione, a meno di non preventivare una spesa esosa. La uso da qualche settimana ormai, cercando di testarla con pietanze diverse, più o meno asciutte, e non mi ha mai fatto brutti scherzi. La cottura è velocisima e uniforme, il cibo non si è mai attaccato, e finalmente ho potuto preparare le esatte quantità che volevo senza preoccuparmi di lasciare troppo vuota la pentola. L'ho trovata perfetta, quindi, per 2 persone. Ad esempio, ci preparo la polenta, con la farina cruda: 100g di farina in 400ml di acqua regolata di sale. Dal fischio ci vogliono 8-10 minuti di cottura, contro i 45 classici. La quantità per due persone è perfetta, impossibile da preparare anche nella meno capiente delle classiche pentole a pressione. Un plus è il ricettario allegato: è solo in inglese, ma è veramente caratteristico!! Piuttosto antiquato, ma contiene una selezione curiosa di ricette divise in continentali, indiane e cinesi. Bellissimo!!! Temevo che sarebbe stato difficile trovare i pezzi di ricambio, tipo la valvola di sicurezza o la guarnizione, ma non è così. Unica nota: è in alluminio, quindi è meglio non lavarla in lavastoviglie se non volete ritrovarvela di un bel colore blu o nero! Col senno di poi, la acquisterei da 2l, non da 1.5l, perchè possa essere più versatile, ma sono in ogni caso completamente soddisfatta dell'acquisto, visto anche il prezzo irrisorio(34€, se non erro).
