Jameco Valuepro RSF/MO5WS500RJBU Resistor Metal Oxide 500 Ohm 5W 5% (Pack of 20)

I tested the values on my HP bench top multimeter using 4-wire Kelvin clips. I ordered these to replace some 500 Ω 10% resistors in my 70s vintage stereo amplifier. These 5% tolerance resistors were all within 5% and three of the 20 measured exactly 500 Ω. Most measured within 2.5%. The worst one measured 493 Ω.

Work as they should and arrived on time

GIANT resistors. They're so big and ugly. They work well and do as they advertise but they're so unsightly and ugly.

Range from 494-501 ohms. Checked w/ a recently calibrated meter. They will work for my application. But if you need 500 ohms exactly looks elsewhere.
