Very Impressed
I am very impressed with not only the rosin bag itself, but also with the level of customer service I received from Aurorae. About 4 months ago I ordered a Manduka mat from Amazon. I was very excited about the mat, as I had heard great things and it has been my only big yoga-related purchase. When I got the mat, I was VERY disappointed. I couldn't believe how slippery it was. It was irritating and unpleasant to even try to practice on it! After viewing Amazon's return policy, I realized that I couldn't return the mat, and my only option was to try to find a solution to the slipping. I tried everything. And I do mean everything-- washing the mat, physically wearing in the mat, applying various solutions to the mat, special yoga socks/gloves, non-yoga related fitness socks/gloves, towels, prayer.... By the end of it, I was agitated and had far surpassed my budget for yoga supplies. And worst of all, my practice had suffered. I was stressed about my practice, which defeats the purpose!Honestly, I stumbled upon the rosin bag. I couldn't be happier that I did! I read the reviews about the bag, so when I received it, I had very high expectations-- and I wasn't disappointed! It works. I don't know what else to say besides it really works. I bounced it around in my hands, slapped the bag on my feet, patted the solution around the areas where my hands/feet go, and I was back to focusing on my meditation and form instead of on how badly I was sliding around. Besides the fact that it works, the best part about the rosin bag is that it is a cheap solution to a problem with which so many people deal. I wish I had found the rosin bag before spending sooo much money on other supplies that didn't even work. The rosin bag is also small (about 3.5 x 2 inches)-- I set the bag at the top corner of my mat in case I needed to reapply, and it didn't get in the way at all. I reapplied once during my hour-long practice (just a little to my hands), but if you put plenty of the solution on your mat, you don't need to reapply at all (Note: I perspire on my hands, but I was not dripping sweat). For some wonderful reason, it adheres very well to my Manduka mat, so I was able to get a firm grip where I had applied the powder.I'm too ecstatic that it works to be critical, but for the sake of other shoppers, I will say one thing: I have a black mat, and the solution is a white powder. The solution is visible on the mat, and on hands and feet. The powder, however, does not feel messy-- it is smooth on my hands and feet, like baby powder. I wore black leggings the other day, and when I did tree pose, it left a little bit of powder on my pants-- but, like baby powder, I was able to dust it right off. SMALL price to pay, and in my opinion, can also be seen as an advantage: because I can see the powder on my mat, I know where to place hands/feet to get a good grip. With regard to the customer service: I was impressed by the other reviews I read about receiving calls and whatnot from the President of Aurorae. I also received a very helpful email after receiving my order. The email gave tips on using the product/not slipping in general. Very nice touch. IMO, the biggest benefit a company can offer is great customer service. The economy is not in the best place, and people have fewer reasons to buy. Customer service can make or break a company. In this case, Aurorae has acquired a new loyal customer. I will certainly try other Aurorae products, and with peace of mind, because I know I will be taken care of. Thanks, Aurorae!Lastly, I know this review has been enthusiastic, but I've been very honest, so don't dismiss! I would like to know one thing: I practice almost every day; how long is the rosin bag supposed to last?

No more frustration with sweety hands and feet
This is my second Aurorae Rosin Bag. I love this little bag. I love the seller, really seems to care about customer service and customer satisfaction.I practice Vinyasa Flow Yoga, so not a lot of heavy sweating, but enough for me to keep me from "flowing" or holding poses. So I was between buying the sticky towels that you place over your mat or this little bag. I decided to go with the Aurorae rosin bag because I thought that the towel was too much money and it probably was not going to get really sticky on my mat since I am not dripping sweat and after reading some reviews on those type of towels, my understanding is that for the towels to really work and not move on your mat, they need to be pretty wet. I am not sure that I might be right on the towel or not, but since I am reviewing the Slip Free Rosin Bag, I will say that I will keep buying it for me and for friends, it does not break your wallet, it does not take a lot of room either and it works!. It is really easy to use. I just have to make sure that it does not end up being washed with the yoga bag like it did with my first one ;)Good job Aurorae! Aurorae Yoga Slip Free Rosin Bag. Stop Slipping on your Yoga Mat, Odor Free and Non Sticky. Made in USA. Great with Aurorae's Yoga mats

Simple solution that just works
I've recently started doing yoga on a much more regular basis after finding a studio I love. I started to run into problems with sliding on my mat, which led to an inability to stay in poses or straining and inappropriate form to avoid the slipping. I was in the market for a new yoga mat anyway, so I assumed it was just my old worn out mat. Then, after ordering my new mat and still having slipping problems, I started down every avenue I could find, including various mat break-in methods, laying down a towel on my mat, etc. I'll add a small disclaimer here that all of this slipping was happening for me in an average moderately paced vinyasa style class. I was not in any kind of hot yoga practice were excessive sweating was the culprit. Finally I determined that I just happen to have the perfect combination of soft skin on my hands and the tendency for them to sweat slightly - just enough to slip right out of down dog. I was in despair that I was going to have to start wearing grippy gloves or get a grippy towel to use in every single yoga class. I was not looking forward to being "that sweaty person" that was all suited up for just your typical moderate flow class. Then, I accidentally stumbled on the link to this rosin bag - which seems to be the only product on the market (that I could see) that addressed the problem in such a simple way and efficient way. You just pat some on your hands or on your mat, and the product simultaneously absorbs any moisture while providing a slight tack. I used it directly on my hands right before class started, and gave it a pat every once in a while just to make sure I was still covered. There was no smell, no gritty feeling on my hands, and it didn't result in any kind of skin itchiness or reaction. This little bag is small enough to stuff into a small gym bag pocket and I leave it right on the side of my mat all during my practice in case I need to reapply. As I've gotten used to how it works and have learned to trust it, though, I find I need to reapply less each class. I've only had it for a few weeks, so I'm not sure as to the longevity, but even if it only lasted a month I would buy again in a heartbeat - and I think it will last quite a long time just based on reviews here and what I've seen in use. It does its job well and I'm so glad I found this product

I guess I found the photos misleading
I liked that they shipped quickly, however I thought for “quantity” of 1, was 1 pack of 4 or five like they were holding. I also thought it came with the little towel and band as seen in the picture. I wouldn’t have paid 27 Canadian dollars if I had known it was only one tiniest little pack.
