Iam extremely concerned to see that the product I received was manufactured two and a half years ago. While it may not be expired, I find it unacceptable to be sold such old stock for children’s nutrition. I expected much fresher quality for my family.

Expensive but very tasty and as advertised. We eat with pancakes, and to make homemade hot chocolate and baked goods 👍

I've already used various maple syrups including Maple Joe, so I know what the "real" product looks and tastes like but what I got is nothing compared to that. It was diluted but was sealed and that leads me to assume that either the importer or the exporter themselves diluted the syrup before repacking. It was also more smoky than normal, which I assume due to molasses being added as an diluting agent. That might also the reason why mine was spoiled! There was bubbles, sour smell and whitish particles floating in the syrup. I liked it with caution (washed my mouth afterwards), and it was bitter-sour taste. This is why I was convinced it was spoiled because of the dilution. To manufacturer/importer: As long as we get the genuine product, we don't mind the cost but please don't do adultery in the name of reducing costs. A good maple syrup is semi-dark brown in color, with a hint of smokiness (if it was smoked using maple wood itself). It is sweeter than honey but less than molasses/cane sugar. It is high in calories too. There's another method that uses high pressure (cold pressing) which tastes very raw and has high amount of anti-oxidants and minerals than the heat treated (pasteurized) ones. Please guys, get to know your product before selling.

It got spoilt in 5 days In the bottle had fungus accumulation
