Sliding glass doors can be hazardous when you attempt to go through them, especially after cleaning the glass. The decals look a bit like sand blasted glass, and the heron accentuates the outside. It nearly looks like part of the door, and has just enough visibility to keep you from mistaking a closed door as being open.The package has 3 decals, and the first one taught me to very gradually use my fingers to slowly peel off the decals by about 1/8th of an inch, and pressing the decals in tiny increments to the glass as the decal was unfurling. The first one did not survive the learning curve, no problem, since I needed only two!

For some reason, we've had a lot more birds in the area this year. Before I bought these, there was a bird striking my window almost daily. I haven't had a single bird hit since I installed these a month ago. They are easy enough to install, but I've had experience with installing these types of decals in the past. I had to pull the backing starting at the bottom of the graphic and then make sure the tail of the dragonfly wasn't caught on the backing before proceeding to pull the backing from the remainder of the graphic. The decals do look nice on the windows too.

After reading other reviews, I decided to purchase these decals. I liked the size of them to begin with, rather than dealing with numerous smaller decals. Per the instructions, just go slow when peeling the decal away from the backing. I had no problem at all in doing so. I then used a credit card and slowly applied the decal to the window and brushed the card from the top to the bottom of the decal. Once applied, I smoothed over the decal again with the credit card. No bubbles or tears. Looks great and appears to work already!

They are tiny only about 5" around but perfect for stopping people walking into my sliding glass doors.

Actually would be rated a zero of it was possible. Do not...I repeat...do not buy these. They are horrible. Extremely difficult to peel off paper without destroying the decal, no matter how carefully you try. Paper sticks too well to decal. Im sure if you can manage to get one off, it might look okay. But having worked in a nature store for years where we carried these types of window decals, these are by far the worst quality ones I have ever seen. Don’t waste your money!

The instructions are not clear enough. Thankfully it came 3 decals. The first two didn't transfer to the transfer paper. Hint: before peeling of the backing press very firmly on the backing. Very very slowly peel off the backing. Make sure it is being transferred. If not press again where you see a problem. Once on the glass rub very hard before peeling of the transfer paper. Good luck!

I've used several of this type of decal before without any issues. The vinyl does not transfer correctly as per instructions an I wasted one of the three purchased. Unless you have had previous experence in applying these I don't recommend this product. I've used others that transfer perfectly.

This decal is perfect. Just the right size.... no more walking into the patio door!
