This is absolutely fabulous. Let me repeat.... FABULOUS!! I purchased a Tempurpedic mattress and adjustable bed frame in July. The first night on the bed was so so. Instructions and reviews say you got to break it in and give it a few weeks. After a week of feeling like I was sleeping on a rock I started searching for a mattress topper. Believe it or not most toppers are foam or whatever that sponge is called. One night I pulled out an old comforter that's about 20 yrs old but was thick n heavy. They don't make them like that anymore. I put the comforter on top of my very expensive Tempurpedic mattress and was able to sleep comfortably like I should. The next day I researched and hunted for a mattress topper that wasn't foam because why would ya put foam on top of foam. The bamboo toppers looked really good so I ordered one. It arrived and right out of the box I knew that was a looser. I didn't even try it. Mr. Bamboo just laid on the guest bed as I requested a return/refund. Back to the drawing board eliminating foam and bamboo as choices. After 2 days of searching and reading reviews on Amazon BAM there she was! The D &G extra thick fitted mattress topper. The description was too good to be true. But every word describes this topper exactly the way it is. This topper is the top of the line, quality off the charts. It's soft, plush, excellent price (caught it on sale), so comfortable, feels like a cloud. Elastic bands hold the topper in place. Right out the vacuumed sealed bag I fluffed it and let it hang over my kitchen chairs for a few hours. Then I took it upstairs and I must warn you this topper is heavy but that's because of its quality. I was amazed from opening the package. Truly amazed at its quality. It is absolutely beautiful. Once I got it on the bed I knew it was a winner. My misery was over. I'd slept on my old Sterns and Foster mattress which has a pillow top, on the floor, 2 nights before my mattress topper had arrived. I just couldn't take sleeping on a hard piece of memory foam anymore. I got the best night's sleep on this topper since that slab of cement was delivered. I'm still thinking about returning that bed to Costco. But will not surrender my mattress topper. This company puts out superior products. As for care, I don't think my front load could handle this topper because it's heavy and water would triple its weight. I'm searching for a mattress topper protector so I can keep this beauty nice n clean. I could go on and on about how wonderful this topper is. Trust me this review is as honest as it gets. I highly highly recommend this topper. And would never ever buy another memory foam bed. Buy it, you won't be disappointed. Happy Sleeper

I have a very thick mattress to begin with, and this mattress cover has really great corner straps that hold it down to the mattress and keep it from coming off. This is so soft and comfortable, and completely hides the fact that my original mattress is a block of cement. I sleep through the night now, and my body doesnt hurt in the morning anymore. I love this.

This is my experience as to why I bought this. I was a little disappointed I wish it was thicker. However, I was suffering with intense back, knee, shoulder and thigh pain. Unbelievable pain. I do have diagnoses for the back and knee but it was getting worse fast. In 2020 I bought an expensive firm bed, I was a stomach sleeper. Logical buy. After one knee surgery I started sleeping on my side. Part was it’s easier on my back as time was passing. As the years have gone by this last year became the year of hell with pain. Everything hurt intensely. I spent the night at my son’s in a soft bed and woke up completely baffled as why no extreme pain. I took my goose down comforter folded it 4ths slept on it for 3 nights and same happened, the pain decreased by a large margin. This took me here to find a soft topper. It’s working. No I am not pain free I have major issues. But my shoulders don’t hurt, my thighs don’t hurt. My back is a good 30-40% better and knee. Amazed. If you’re suffering try it. Ide give 5 stars if thicker. It definitely is a game changer. Thank you sellers for this great product.

Omg, when I say this is one of the best purchases I've made on Amazon. It's an understatement. This Mattress Topper is so comfortable. It's thick and fluffy. When you receive it. It's in a box in a vacuum wrapping. Once you cut it out of the wrapping. The Mattress Topper expands right before your eyes. You take it out, shake it, then fit it on your bed. My bed already has a thick mattress, but when I added the Mattress Topper on there it's nothing like it. it's so comfortable it feels like the mattress sucks you right on in, you literally will not want to get out of bed, and gives your bed that extra thick/higher look. When this one gets old. I will be buying another one. I would give it 10 stars if I could....

I have slept on this topper for 2 months, and I like it a lot. I spent a lot of time researching toppers after my bad experience with the first one. My Conclusion: This is a great topper as compared to memory foam which tends to become softer with use and body heat. This topper has an option to wash and refresh while memory foam degrades with time. If your mattress feels too firm, I recommend you try this D & G 2" Thick Mattress Topper. It is comfortable, offering a great pillow-top: I have an innerspring mattress which is a little too firm, and this topper does feel a lot like a feather bed. It sleeps much cooler than the memory foam with cooling gel I tried first. I believe this less high-tech topper will continue to deliver the same performance for many years because I have a comforter with the same type of filling and it continues to have the same volume after 10 years being sat on and used as a cover. It stays in place: I was tired when I put the topper on. I put it right on top of a fluffy mattress pad that hadn't done the trick (it didn't offer a softer top) with the intent of pulling off the old mattress pad when I washed the sheets. At that point, with a thick mattress, the straps to hold this topper in place would have stretched too far so I didn't use them. Fortunately, the topper didn't move at all, and, I left the set-up as is. It is great to have a topper that doesn't move at all. Maintains its softness: This topper rebounds well. That it is washable is another plus, but it doesn't seem to compact and it also doesn't allow me to sink in so far I end up hot and unable to roll or reposition. Why it is better than memory foam (with cooling gel): I had a memory foam topper for 18 months and it had become less comfortable. By 12 months, I should have sought a new solution. That memory foam was the best that Costco sold at the time, and had great ratings. After the first 6 months, I began to notice that I was sinking into the memory foam halfway through the night; over time my joints began to ache, I lost sleep, and I came to believe I slept very hot (even in the winter in MN, with a thermostat set to 60). Prior to that memory foam, and now, I sleep on this D&G Topper, being hot is not an issue. I may need an extra blanket now but that isn't a problem. I also tried a high volume mattress pad. I didn't find it to offer any additional comfort.

my bf has been asking for a better bed to sleep on, and since he rather enjoyed my bed, i gave it to him and recently purchased a zinus green tea infused gel mattress, which they rate as one of their "plushiest." i'm inclined to disagree, but i'll see more about that in the coming summer. the thing about memory foam is that when the temperature in your room is hot, and your body sleeps hot, then it softens and you sink in. but when the temps are cold, and you naturally sleep cold (as i do), the whole mattress turns into a slab of hard, barely giving foam. it's almost as if i laid out a flannel blanket over our slate floors - it was that uncomfortable. however, i also know that memory foam does have break-in period, where it will soften where you've compressed and slept...so meanwhile, enter this mattress topper. this might sound somewhat anticlimactic after that lengthy intro...but really, it's amazing. i thought about tossing it in the dryer at first but decided against it as it came out of the box rather fluffed already. put it under my fitted sheet (i'm a guy, i don't use a top/flat/whateveritscalled sheet) and wow, it turned my newly purchased slate slab into a comfortable, deluxe hotel suite bed. i also grabbed new memory foam pillows to replace our old ones (also from amazon, can provide if interested), and now sleeping is like this whole experience that i actually look forward again instead of dreading. this topper is super plush and it feels kinda like you're sleeping on a very fluffy comforter (which is essentially what it is, except with elastic straps to tie it down). think about how much a high qualify comforter costs - this is a great price for not having to sew some ugly straps onto some expensive comforter yourself to turn it into a makeshift topper. the most surprising thing about it is that as far as i can tell - it doesn't sleep hot. i still toss and turn and wake up a few times but i fall back asleep almost immediately...and sometimes, this is already more than i can ask for.

I was really hoping this would be a good fix for my sleep issues. My husband and I went on vacation and slept on a very plush bed for a few nights. We decided that we needed something like that at home. We purchased our current mattress about 5 years ago and since it was very expensive we didn't want to go mattress shopping again. So I decided to go online to try to find something that would fit our needs. I stumbled across this mattress topper and since it has so many great reviews I decided to give it a go. When it arrived I laundered it and set it up on our bed. We were excited about how plush it was. We thought this would be it! Every day my husband would wake up in a worse mood. Well dang, that's not a good sign. I on the other hand felt like I got absolutely no sleep despite sleeping for 7+ hours. I told myself I just needed to get to bed earlier and things would be fine. They were not fine. By Friday his back pain worsened and I felt sleepier than ever. We decided that it was this topper. We took it off and went out an purchased an adjustable bed frame. That solved all our issues. But wait, there's more! I asked my sister if she wanted this topper since she also has a king sized bed. She took it home and her first impressions were great! So soft and comfy. I was thrilled that my ninty dollar purchase was going to be used! But she experienced the same issues as we did, except hers were more severe. Her back pain was astronomical and she thought it was because she stopped going to the gym and changed her eating habits. I suggested she take the topper off to see if that would solve her problems and it did. Even her dog refused to lay on it. I'm not letting this topper go to waste, though. I'm going to repurpose it into cat beds. Very expensive cat beds. The reason I gave it 3 stars and not 1 or 2 is because it is well made. I was happy with the quality of the product, just not the quality of sleep I was getting from it.

I slept well like a duck in goose heaven. Only caveat it is US queen size which is a tad longer and less wide than jappy queen but still works good

It’s not as thick as what’s been advertised.

This mattress topper completely changed the feel of our RV bed. It’s thick, soft, and adds just the right amount of cushioning without feeling like you’re sinking into it. We wake up feeling much more rested, and it has made camping so much more enjoyable. It fit our short queen RV mattress perfectly, stayed in place, and fluffed up nicely after opening. The quality feels much better than I expected for the price. If you’re tired of a hard RV mattress, this is one of the best upgrades you can make. I would definitely buy it again!
