Lots of pieces!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I bought this kit to irrigate a newly laid hedge as I knew from experience it would need plenty of regular watering and is nearly 20 metres long.I have no experience of irrigation kits so I don't have much to compare to, but these are my initial thoughts after installing this kit last week. Firstly, this is a micro irrigation kit, which means the hose is tiny, like a three core electric appliance flex. According to the instructions you are best limiting the number of nozzles to about 10 per segment. This makes sense as the pipe is so tiny it really can't carry the volume of water required for many nozzles. Anyway, I didn't read the instructions and went ahead and installed 20 jets on about 20m of pipe! The first few nozzles will spray water out like in my photo, but then the pressure drops and the last few get little or nothing. What I really needed for such a long length is a full size hose bore for the main run with the micro bore coming off it.Anyway, it's not a problem as I have a water timer so have set this to come on for several hours every night. You can adjust the flow rate of each nozzle, so now I've got them all dripping water out at a steady rate. As the pipe is so thin it is very easy to hide in your flower beds etc. In fact it's almost impossible to see mine on my new hedge. The kit is very easy to set up, albeit quite tedious. I used side wire cutters to cut the pipe as it was easier than a knife. I warmed each cut piece up with a lighter for 5 seconds rather than water, then a bit of spit on the male T piece and pop the pipe on easily. On my run with 20 nozzles I didn't get a single leak. The main hose connector didn't quite have the configuration I wanted, it has a T-piece with two large hose and one small bore. So I just blocked off one of the large holes with the supplied end cap. The short piece of supplied large hose is clear so you can see the water running through it (just about), but it's the same diameter as your regular garden hose variety, so you can extend with that of your your quick connect couplings. So I'm pretty pleased with this set up. I know I'm not getting a huge spray from each jet, but I did when there were only a few connected, and I've gone well overboard with my configuration. If you want a large water output with a large number of jets then buy a large bore kit.

Brilliant time saver
This is fantastic and saves so much time. I bought this for my mother who loves her garden but isn’t as able to stand and water the plants every day in the hot months.A lot of the garden plants are in pots so this system is fantastic when it gets hot to be able to water many at the same time. Also I really like how you can change the flow of the water and the way that it comes out. The hose is a lovely length and reaches far into the garden.

Full kit
This item arrived safe and well packaged. This kit contains everything needed to set up up a full irrigation system in your garden. From the tap connectors, to the pipes, to the pipe connections and T-bars, to the different nozzles for watering the plants.I found it easier to lay out the nozzles and drippers in the approximate locations first. This made it easier to cut the hose to the correct lengths between nozzles. Placing the end of the hose in a cup of hot water really does work to soften them. A tight fit in needed to make sure water only drop from wherever you actually want it too. Plenty of pipe in this kit to run the length of most gardens - around 40m.I highly recommend this product.

Good for starters!
Good for starters. Use this kit on my 10 flower pots and it works nicely. But don’t think it’s good for my vegetable allotment. Definitely doesn’t work with water butt(tried and failed even with full tank); it can’t connect with too many connectors if you want it to spray water as it will only drip water. Probably will work on tomato patch, one dripper for one root. If I initially use it on my allotment, I’ll give 3 stars, but for my flowers, I think it’s very good for starters. So 5 for my flowers.

No more drought in the allotment
This is for my friend who has an allotment as he is always bringing me vegetables from it. As a token of my appreciation I've purchased this. The reason being is that he's always saying the most difficult part of owning an allotment is keeping everything watered. This eradicates the issue as it drip waters everything, never giving too much water but keeping them wet too.Simple and easy to put together too.

The lead pipe from the tap burst on 1st use
We may have bought the wrong thing but the clear hose that attaches to the tap burst on 1st use, abandoned that but will use the narrow hose along with a 1/2 inch hose as small feeder sprinklers, so not all lost!

DRIP SYSTEM
Okay, I was a little skeptical when I bought it because people were saying it didn't work as an irrigation system - BUT it was absolutely fine. If you want to use it as a high pressure high through-put system, you are probably looking for the wrong thing. This is a drip feeder, so you turn on the tap a tiny bit and let it drip into your plants for an hour or two. It works absolutely fine for me, I turn it on for a few hours when the sun is baking my garden to help my Tomatoes and strawberries.

Week non UV stable transparent pipe…
Great product installed Ok but after just four weeks of use in the green house the transparent pipe supplied burst at a very low water pressure. Looks as if the transparent pipe is not Ultra Violet stable. Strange as it’s designed for use in a green house.
