Very good. Expensive, but ticks all the boxes, and my neglected garden furniture (steamer and bench) have improved immeasurably. Would recommend.

These three chairs came out of a collapsed shed, so they were in really bad condition. My partner even doubted they could be saved, but I bought the kit and found it performs really well. From the photos you can see the before, during and final result. The kit comes well packaged with easy instructions. the ONLY reason I am giving it 4 instead of 5, is that we couldn't open the teak oil bottle for the life of us. The top had been wedged on so tightly that the child safe lock apparatus just didn't work - it took pliers, a screw driver and 15 minutes of my partner swearing at an inanimate object before we finally got into the thing! But aside from that, as long as you are prepared to work at the cleaning (the scrubbing brush that comes with the kit was excellent) then you should expect great results.

We purchased this to clean and restore the teak garden furniture which was in a very grubby and faded state. Followed the instructions exactly, after the clean, and restore we were not convinced at all, but we followed the process and did the 3 coats of oil. I must say how impressed we are with the final results. We used a different team oil last year, and the colour never came back anywhere near as what this product has achieved. Would definitely recommend. The kit managed to do a 6 seater table, 6 seats and also a companion set.

Used this on garden furniture. Was easy enough to apply but I have to say it didn’t work too well on our pine garden furniture. The description suggested it would work on most wooden furniture but didn’t do well on pine. In the end I spent a good few hours sanding with an electric sander.

Does what it says on the tin! Although it does take a while and you do need to follow all the steps and give it a good scrub at first but it is worth it ! We bought an expensive second hand table and chairs that had been neglected and got it at a very cheap price. Used this furniture restoration kit and transformed it. To note I did buy an extra bottle of brighter and the larger tub of teak oil (figured this needs doing every year so will need it anyway)

I recently purchased a new patio dining set and it was fresh wood never treated. I wanted a product to waterproof it. I decided to buy this maintenance kit because next season I can use it to clean and brighten and add the waterproofing oil again. Since my patio was new, I just used the oil And I have to say I am beyond impressed. You have to apply several coats for new finishes. I apply three coats in a span of 4 to 6 hours and then it rained two days later. The product waterproof, my wood table exactly as it was described. It was very effective. It works well very easy to use. Not to mention it made my wood finish just a little shade darker. It wasn’t terrible. It was just fine.

This is a useful and comprehensive kit for cleaning teak furniture. The only omission I felt was a small brush to clean between the slats and get into the crevices of the chairs, though a toothbrush proved to be the answer. I inherited a large garden table and 8 chairs some 20 years old and was keen to see if I could restore them to something like their original appearance. In practice, I found the whole exercise pretty hard work so expect to expend a lot of time and elbow grease to carry out the job. The key is probably cleaning the furniture thoroughly and I have some doubts as to the need to use a proprietary product to do this. I think scrubbing with mild soapy water is probably at least as good and a lot cheaper. The brightener proved to be oxalic acid which you can buy much cheaper in bulk. I really saw very little evidence of the original colour at the cleaning and brightening stages other than to clean off the dirt and mould but the oil did make a big difference and produced a good result despite the age of the furniture. My major criticism would be the claim that you can refurbish a garden table and 4 chairs up to 5 times! I simply don’t believe that’s possible without considerably more product than is included with this kit hence my marking it down to 4 stars as not being good value.
