This snow globe was a gift for my 6 year olds birthday.The song plays beautifully and the globe itself is of excellent quality.This is a piece she will have for years to come. We are very please with our purchase and will be relying on The San Francisco Music Box Company for all of our Snow Globe and Music Box gifting needs.

It's a pretty water globe, but it doesn't play music at all. The bottom is covered with glue - obviously someone already tried to fix the broken mechanism, but then glued everything back together and returned. Very disappointing and unpleasant. The seller should check the condition of their merchandise before shipping. I previously bought the same water globe, also by San Francisco Music Box Company, just with a different flower - that one plays music perfectly and doesn't have any glue on the bottom. I was very much satisfied with that previous purchase. This one is a disaster.An update on the water globe: I removed the bottom cover to check what was wrong with the mechanism, and it turned out that the excess glue from the cover had gotten inside. The mechanism was covered with strings of glue which prevented it from turning. I removed those gummy strings and now the music plays very well. I am changing the rating from one star to three, since in fact the mechanism was not broken, but still, someone did put too much glue on the bottom cover of the globe.

I thought of getting something that doesn't "die" so I scoured amazon to see what could be a good valentines day gift and came across this Rose globe and noticed the glowing reviews. Got it and gifted it to her. When she opened the gift, her face lit up massively! According to her, it's the best valentines day gift she has ever gotten!

The rose globe was packaged beautifully for gifting. It was very pretty and the quality of 5he music box was very good. It was a gift for my daughter who called after she had had some time to enjoy it and told me she loved it

I ordered this for my mom. "The Rose" was my aunts favorite song and always takes my mom back to the days they had together before my aunt passed. My parents walked me down the aisle to "The Rose" so this has such sentimental meaning to us. This delivered and was absolutely perfect. Could not have asked for anything better.

I like it...can't say I love it...it's a gift for a friend. It's very well made, has vibrant (not gaudy) colors and is safely packaged. Can't say that for the first globe I purchased and returned. The music box song of "The Rose" is quite beautiful and has a clear sound.
