Have always been a fan of broadcast TV. Living in the Black Hills of western South Dakota an indoor antenna doesn't do anything. Purchased this antenna to pick up a few of the local channels. Assembly was simple following the included directions. Installation was also a breeze as I used an existing satellite pole to mount the antenna to. Once completed, I scanned for channels and was shocked that it found 47 total stations. I was amazed by the clarity and quality of all of them. If you are on the fence if this antenna works, trust me, it works great in my situation. Value, quality and free channels, what more would a person need.

So far it is working as expected. I live in a rural area, about 30-45 miles between the two major cities with towers. Installed this to bring in some local channels for my parrots (such as PBS kids) to have on during the day in their little house. It was a little confusing at first for the assembly but got it figured out and installed without much difficulty. I was able to pick up 45 channels which isn't bad for our area, especially on an older TV. It seems a bit flimsy in part of the antenna and hope it stands up to the high wind & heavy rain we often have.

OTA = Over The Air... verses cable, satellite, streaming, etc. I was recently a tech with a very popular satellite TV company. We also installed OTA antennas and often had to struggle to get OTA channels to come in well when the location is 50+ miles away from big city TV broadcast towers. This antenna seems to be a very good one... putting it together might be a bit confusing for some, but so far it seems worth the trouble. Now this product does NOT have a built-in amplifier (but that's one of the reasons I like it). Sure, a built-in amp might draw in a few more channels (or make some a little more clear) but it also means it will need to plug-in to electric power somewhere. I am 45 miles away from several TV towers and this manufacturer recommends trying the antenna indoors before installing it outdoors (which is always smart). I picked up over 40 channels indoors and the picture was perfect on most of them. I haven't installed it outdoors yet and that's the only reason I gave it 3 stars for ease of installation... but I will update this post once I do have it installed. I expect over 100 channels but it's really not about HOW MANY channels you pick-up, it's HOW MANY CHANNELS YOU WANT that you pick up. I happen to know that living outside of Houston TX there are only about 20-30 local stations that I actually want... many of the others are foreign channels or shopping networks that I would never watch. Even the best OTA TV antenna can't help signals much if you are 200+ miles from no where. But so far I am pretty happy with this product. I bought the full-install package that came with the mounting pole, brackets, and 40 feet of cable. I was pleasantly surprised they even included things like "pitch-patch' which are little tar squares to be placed between the roof and the mounting plate screws before it is tightened down. There are even mounting clips (and a few zip ties) to help with running the cable from the antenna to the splitter (which is also included with the mounting kit). The only thing that could make this better is a having a few more specifics on antenna assembly, so you KNOW exactly which antenna sections connect to the others and which end faces which. Also, there were no instructions for the mount kit but other than a wide variety of screws the kit looks fairly simple. * UPDATE* Nearly 5 months later and I am still happy with this OTA Antenna. Nearly every channel is crystal clear high definition. I have had zero problems except for a few occasions, when storms seem to have affected the reception of one or two distant TV stations, but those are far and few between. I'm sure you can buy bigger, better, more expensive antennas... but I still recommend this antenna and am quite happy with it.

This antenna is capable of picking up all my local OTA stations and I have it hooked to a small distribution amp. I believe the antenna is well made and it is installed on a 10 foot pole with a sturdy base. I am close to Reading, Allentown and Philadelphia.

Antenna is a bit over priced. Not a 200 Mile Antenna. This Antenna works well on UHF channels however Lower band VHF 2 thru 13, don't perform well. Make sure there are no obstructions it will greatly reduce the performance. My towers are 33 miles away, so I had to use an amplifier to get better performance with the 4 way splitter. It has Good Quality construction. comes with a 4way splitter and coax cable, the hardware is included for the J-Pole model to attach to either wood or masonry that is a plus, if mounting to a wall or chimney. I was going to return the item and contacted tech support . it is 95 degrees outside here in Florida so I will keep looking for something better but the antenna works ok, not great, but ok.

The antenna works very well. Installed it in the attic and ran it to 2 TVs. Pulled in about 15 to 20 stations including the local stations and the newsman channel

I wrote a great review for the antenna a few months ago and I must update my opinion……When I first hooked this antenna up it worked amazingly…..a few months later this is no better than the piece of junk I bought this to replace. 75% of the time most of the stations come in lousy. Very rarely local stations come in good enough to watch. I have the antenna in my attic rather than on the roof and I think that is my problem. I think antennas have to be outside! :(

This antenna is absolutely amazing from a real person here that lives about 60 miles from my favorite American channels out in the county near windsor ontario canada. I have tried several over the years and nothing but poor signal especially in a hint of rain or overcast days and even at night when signals are lowered by stations. Well thus antenna has been flawless in some pretty big huge storms although I haven't experienced snow fall yet so we will see...yet I have high hopes so far as again this has been a great antenna so far. No more adjustments constantly of last few I have tried. ***Well after some major wind and snow storms this past winter...I am absolutely amazed with this antenna. This was so well worth the purchase finally after many years of trying expensive ones and gimmicky antennas. This truly works and this review is from a very real non biased canadian man. There is good distance from me in the county off the lake so I do get more extreme weather conditions because of lake effects to American TV stations towers and again this antenna honestly rocked in all these conditions with rarely.. and I mean rarely a disruption ever. Anyone that had an issue either got a defective one or like I've had before with lg tvs kind of like a reverse polarity and actually caused the issues in line with all other tvs. Weird but true since I replaced that lg tv every tv (8 of them ) all on this one antenna with one booster works great. So maybe it's the actual tv causing issues as well of a bad line or need a proper booster as all boosters are not alike either with power and non power that can also cause problems. It took awhile to figure out just one of my tvs was the problem in stream and also one of the power boosters after went bad like every 2 years

Very happy with the antenna, easy to setup and works perfectly.

It showed up very quickly, was easy to set up. I now get 64 free to air channels, very clear and consistent reception.
