Works over time.
This product works! I have struggled with nail fungus on this one toe since 2017 or 2018. I have tried prescription nail polish (though I wasn’t consistent enough)…I tried laser treatment, which was painful and made it Worse…. Nothing worked, and I wasn’t consistent. I have kept this gel on my nightstand. I put it on at bedtime, and sometimes in the morning before socks. The bottle is 1/2 gone and my nail was nearly normal until I forgot to bring it on my trip a few weeks ago. I usually coat the nail instead of just a few drops, so it might take less if used as directed. I expect to be normal by the end of this bottle. It’s been a few months, because nails take time to grow out. I’m using this product consistently. Occasionally I will file the surface of the nail to help the gel get into the nail. Occasionally I clean out underneath it with a nail tool. Try not to cut it because you could end up with ingrown nails if you cut too short. Also use fresh socks every time, and take your shoes & socks off to let it breathe when you are home. I treat my shoes occasionally with disinfectant spray, but plan to replace them when this is healed, to prevent reinfection. I miss sandals & pedicures! It’s finally healthy enough that I wore sandals last week. Also, this product has a slight vinegar smell. I suspect that’s one of the ingredients, since it’s often recommended as a home remedy online. The smell goes away within seconds. I would 100% buy this again, but I’m optimistic that one bottle is enough. It’s taken about 6 months for the healthy nails to grow out. I’m also using Hair Skin Nails supplements to encourage faster growth. Good luck to you!

Works better than anything I've tried yet... I'm hopeful that it will clear things up completely
First a little background: I'm a 36y/o Male. One of my big toenails has been infected with something for 8 or so years now. It has been white & yellowish, flaky and very painful for many of those years. The nail continues to grow, but very brittle and never fully attached to the skin underneath. I use a small, angled cuticle clipper and nail files to remove as much bad nail as I can so I can apply product on the skin underneath. At times, there has been almost no visible toenail because I was able to cut it back all the way. I have always worn shoes (or at least socks indoors) because I have been too embarrassed for anyone to see my gross toe. At the beach if I'm not in the water it will usually be buried in the sand. I have tried many over-the-counter remedies and prescription products. Lotrimin, Lamisil, Tinactin, Clotrimazole, Vicks Vapo-rub, most of the small bottles you can find in walmart, etc... I don't remember all of them. Believe it or not, the only one that seemed to do any good at all was the vapo-rub. I went to do doctor twice. The first time I asked for the pill that requires regular blood testing. She wasn't comfortable giving that to me and I left with a prescription of some sort. Clotrimazole, maybe. The second time was an Army doc. I explained the steps I had taken so far, and he wanted to try and identify what exactly we were dealing with. He clipped off as much nail as he could and sent it to a lab for testing. The results didn't show anything, so either they screwed up the testing or anything previously alive was dead and undetectable by the time it arrived at the lab. Fast forward to January 2016: I have obviously read by now that vinegar is sometimes helpful for nail treatment, but have avoided it because I find the smell absolutely repulsive. After some more research online I decide I don't care about the smell, I am going to try some anyway. That's when I found NonyX, which is essentially a gel-ified version of vinegar. It was delivered on January 20 and I began using it immediately. I apply at least twice a day (once immediately after I shower in the morning and again before bed) As usual, I keep the nail trimmed as far back as possible. I take a q-tip and break it in half. I squirt the gel onto the toe and rub it in thoroughly with the q-tip half. For the first month or so I would apply a band-aid because I didn't want the vinegar smell on my socks or sheets. I eventually got used to the smell and decided to forego the band-aids. After almost 4 months of limited success (a little better than the vapo-rub) I decided to ask a buddy of mine his opinion - he is in the medical field and really seems to know his stuff. I showed him my toe and explained my entire history and showed him the Nonyx gel. He recommended I stick with the Nonyx since it seems like it is doing something, but also soak my foot. Most importantly, he said it needs to breathe and I should wear shoes and socks as little as possible. This summer I happen to find myself working in a small office alone, so I decided to follow his advice and wear flip flops every day, instead of my usual sneakers. 2 months later and I have seen the most noticeable improvement yet. It is not perfect but hasn't looked this good in over 8 years. In summary: I don't know if NonyX is going to completely clear up my toenail, but it seems to be the best solution I have found so far and I have high hopes for it. In fairness to the other products I used, they may have worked better if I had avoided wearing shoes and socks and let the toenail breathe. My first bottle of Nonyx is getting a little low so I will definitely be buying another one and hope it continues to clear up the nail. I will update this review and star rating as time goes by.

This Stuff Work!!!!
I’ve had this weird toe fungus for at least 20 years. No lie in about three weeks it was cleared. I wasn’t using it as I was suppose to either. The nail on my toe NEVER GREW, until I got this stuff. I didn’t believe in the product so much I didn’t take a picture. I really wish I did. No lie in about three weeks I seen a huge difference. Also in case you don’t do this. Make sure you don’t have nail polish and try to let them toes get as much sun as possible. It helps getting rid of it. Oh and I hope you like the smell of vinegar

THIS WORKS!!!
THIS WORKS!!! My doctor said It takes so long to see progress because toenails grow much more slowly than fingernails do—that it has nothing to do with the fungus or this product. Some reviewers say Nonyx is simply vinegar (ethanoic acid, which the reviewers say is the same as vinegar) with thickener (xantham gum). But the thickener is the KEY!!! Ethanoic acid, aka acetic acid, like that used in Nonyx (5-10%), can be stronger than regular household vinegar (1-5%).. However, the label doesn’t state the concentration. When I see labeling that doesn’t “brag” about an ingredient or its strength, I assume there’s nothing to brag about. So, let’s go with the idea that Nonyx and household vinegar are both 5% acetic acid. More on that in a minute. Yes, the xanthan gum does give this product its gel consistency, **but that’s also why the ethanoic acid stays where you want it to instead of running down and off your foot.** So the xantham gum has a true purpose! It helps the active ingredient (ethanoic acid) to be more effective by staying in place and not evaporating. That is why, **even if the concentration in NONYX is only equal to that of household vinegar, the product is still going to give superior, faster results over vinegar foot soaks.** Here’s a summary of what I found in my research: **Comparison: NONYX Nail Gel vs. Vinegar Foot Soak for Toenail Fungus** **NONYX Nail Gel** - **What it is:** A gel containing 5–10% ethanoic acid (acetic acid), the same active ingredient as vinegar. - **How to use:** Apply directly to the nail and surrounding skin, usually twice daily. - **How long it takes to work:** Since toenails grow slowly (about 1–2 mm per month), it may take several months of consistent use to see clear, healthy nail at the base. - **Convenience:** Very easy to use—just apply the gel and let it dry. It stays in place and doesn’t run off. - **Why it works:** The gel formula keeps the acid on your nail longer, so it works more effectively than liquid vinegar. **Vinegar Foot Soak** - **What it is:** A mixture of 1 part vinegar (5% acetic acid) and 2 parts warm water. - **How to use:** Soak your feet for 15–20 minutes, twice daily. - **How long it takes to work:** Improvement may take even longer than with NONYX, often several months to a year, because the acid doesn’t stay on the nail as long. - **Convenience:** Requires preparation and time for soaking. Can be messy and less convenient than a gel. - **Why it works:** Vinegar’s acetic acid helps fight fungus, but results are slower and less consistent. **Summary Table (Text Only, for Clarity)** **Treatment:** NONYX Nail Gel **Formulation:** Gel (5–10% acid) **Frequency:** Twice daily **Time to See Results:** Several months as nail grows out **Convenience:** High **Treatment:** Vinegar Foot Soak **Formulation:** Liquid (5% acid) **Frequency:** Twice daily **Time to See Results:** Several months to a year **Convenience:** Moderate - **Toenail fungus takes time to resolve** because townails grow so slowly (1-2 mm per month) - **I asked my doctor for oral antifungal pills, but she recommended NONYX first** due to the risk of side effects from oral medications. - **NONYX worked for me**—**its gel formula keeps the acid on the nail, which helps it work better than vinegar soaks.** - **Vinegar soaks are a good budget option, but take longer** and are less convenient.

Good product
I received a fungal infection in both toe nails from nail tech application process. I removed most of areas affected and used this gel to help with regrowth and clarifying of the existing nail. It worked and my nail regrew stronger and better actually. During the regrowth I did not polish, acrylic or place any other items on the nail

It’s working!
I’ve been battling toe fungus for over two years now. I’ve tried three or four over-the-counter meds, one prescription med, and laser treatment, none of which worked. Nonyx is the first to appear to be working! My toenails are growing out and the treated area is clear! I’m thinking another three or four months and I’ll be done!

By jingo it works!
This stuff's great, just ordered my second batch. I used to use an American product about 10 years ago that was very good as my folks used to bring it back from there for me when they went twice a year. Since those visits stopped i've been using English product which to be honest isn't very good, it helps keep the fungus at bay but doesn't really get rid of it. I saw some good reviews for this on some American sites and saw it was available here so thought i'd give it a go (it's also a couple of quid cheaper than the stuff you buy in the U.K.) Took about a week to start kicking in and noticed a marked improvement to my pretty horrendous toe nails, 2 months in and it's definitely clearing up. Well pleased.
