no more throwaway bic candle lighters
I took way too long to buy this. First, who doesn't love Zippo products? Second their rechargeable line works great. I replaced might lighter inserts with them and love them. This has done away with the need for those expensive, short lasting, big candle lighters... and believe me, my wife LOVES candles. I guess I should say, if you're a dude reading this and you have a significant other who enjoys candles... boom, I just solved your gift problem. Get it. She will love it!

Super cool.Once you get the hang of turning it on it's fun to use. No added smoke and mess like with matches. Would buy another.

Zippo Candle Lighter
I bought this electric lighter for my wife for Christmas. She previously had a cheap off-brand one that would not hold charge and was very difficult to light. This lighter is easy to use and holds charge for a long time. She uses it daily and is very pleased. Also, it's stylish and she loves the rose gold color.

It works!
I’ve wanted to try one of these for a while but hesitated because I wasn’t sure if it would work. It works perfectly! It easily reaches down into my candles, so there’s no blackened area on the glass after lighting. Highly recommend!

Not worth the money or trouble to return
This candle lighter doesn't work I followed the directions when I try to light the candle tiny tiny light goes out will not purchase this again. The first yankee candle lighter bought lasted for eight years it had the butane I loved that one will see if yankee candle still carry this one.our store close when covid was around. This one is not worth the trouble iam trashing them(2).

Too Tedious
I've had this thing for a while now. While it's sturdy, the battery depletes quickly and takes ages to charge. That's annoying when you seem to be constantly charging it.The arc lights wicks quickly, but between soot & wax, you have to clean it all the time, so it actually works.The battery area gets a little hot when lighting several candles (seems concerning), and though I'm not very sensitive to sound, the noise it makes when it's on is deeply unpleasant.Lastly, you can't do a number of things you could do with an actual flame.While this is OK, I think it's a step backwards.Bought a refillable, AA-powered lighter that even has a longer neck.
