Rowley Jefferson's Awesome Friendly Adventure: From the Creator of Diary of a Wimpy Kid

I love that I never have to beg my 7 year old to read with these books. Entertaining and fun. Just right for his reading level.

Another great addition to our Diary of a Wimpy Kid library, well bound and quality paper and printing, the book itself is quality made, the story is engaging and funny, just what you want from a DOAQWK title. After over 20 books Jeff Kinney is still coming up with original and entertaining books. Good price on sale

Great book

Even though this book Seres aimed at younger readers; nevertheless, adults may also find them amusing. I am pleased with my purchase.

Picked this up thinking it would be a quick read for my boys… and just like the rest of these books, it vanished almost immediately. That’s usually the best sign. They’ve already read through a bunch from Diary of a Wimpy Kid, so this one from Jeff Kinney was an easy win. Same goofy humor, lots of laughs, and just enough weirdness to keep them hooked the whole way through. I barely got a chance to flip through it before it was claimed, read, and passed around again. If your kids already like this style of book, this one fits right in—another hit in the rotation.

My 8-year-olds review: “I liked that it had an adventure, I liked that Rowley was in the book, and I also liked all of the new characters. I give it a 10 out of 10!” My son was never interested in books - until the Wimpy Kid series. I often find him cracking up while reading them and I never have to ask him to read anymore. He’s read each book in the collection at least 4-5 times. When this book came out, he was wary and wasn’t sure if he would like it as much as the Wimpy Kid series. Well, he just finished it and LOVED it! He said he would definitely read more of the adventure-type series if they came out. We are also eagerly anticipating the next Wimpy Kid book. :) As much as my son adores the books, he is starting to age out of them a little bit (he reads them cover to cover in less than an hour.) I hope the author - Jeff Kinney - writes a similarly styled, but more advanced series soon! ;)
