UPDATED--------- All fixed!!
This looks okay and sounds okay but not great. I tested them via a you tube channel audio test. They top out around 15000mhz and bottom out around 55mhz. Don't expect these to be great at producing music but they would be okay for laptop/pc use. JUST DONT USE THE LIGHTSIve sent my purchase back as I was very dissatisfied - mostly because the lights (which are a nice touch and the main reason I bought) are virtually useless. The speakers buzz like crazy with the lights turned on and every time the lights change colour the pitch of the buzz changes to. Personally I would recommend buying something more upmarket.UPDATE 29/6/20 - so the seller contacted me as I was unhappy with my purchase. The customer service is friendly and helpful. They agreed to send me a replacement speaker in the post, which I received within a few days. I tested these speakers using the same test as before with much better results!! The speakers performance and resonance was similar to above, this time topping out at 14000mhz and dropping to 45mhz. The volume when on full is enjoyable and they handle most music with ease. The base isnt fantastic but its listenable and it doesnt distort the speakers when cranked right up. I like the fact you can split the speakers and either have a soundbar or left/right mode. Only critisicms here are, 1, the USB C cable lining the 2 speakers together could have been 10 cm longer (i have a 34" monitor and they are in left/right mode) as they struggle to fix comfortably around the monitor size. And 2, the left speaker needs to be slightly heavier - the right speaker contains the volume and mode controls therefore is slightly heavier, this causes the left speaker to topple over sometimes but nothing annoying.Overall, they are nice little speakers. The lights are a nice touch (just be sure to plug into a USB adaptor and plug into mains if you suffer with buzzing, which is caused by a 'common ground' issue. I only suffer minor buzzing when in 'lights changing mode' and I have my speakers plugged into my monitor. I also tried with my PS4 and laptop.I recommend these speakers!!!

For the price you can't go wrong.....

I just wanted some speakers for my spare PC and these have exceeded my expectations.Good & Bad Points:✔ Good value✔ Easy set up✔ Look more expensive✔ Good sound✔ Bluetooth and 3.5mm option✔ Horizontal or vertical position✖ Lack bass✖ Lightweight (easily knocked over)✖ Short speaker connection leadVerdict: Recommended, for around £30 you really can't complain.In Detail:These speakers have the option to be placed vertical either side of your monitor or horizontally by joining the two together by the strong magnet built into them. There are pads on the base if you choose to have them vertically and pads on the side if you have them horizontal. A wire coming from the main unit with the volume control connects to the second speaker though the wire isn't that long but sufficient for having the speakers either side of a monitor.The power source is via the USB lead coming from the main unit, this can either be plugged directly into any USB socket on your PC or into a USB power source rated 5V 2A, I just used a spare USB socket on the PC. To connect these to your audio source just connect the 3.5mm plug into the back of your PC or other audio device marked audio out. I used the built in Bluetooth instead, by holding down the BT button on the speaker and allowing the PC to find and connect.I was immediately impressed with the sound, ten times better than the sound I was getting from just the built in monitor speakers. To be honest I knew I wouldn't be getting thumping bass from these, if I wanted that then obviously I'd have to spend more. But for the quality I'm getting then they are most definitely worth the money. The built in RGB lights are a nice touch, you can have them in sync with your music or just random, this feature is controlled via a button on the main unit.So if you're looking for some basic PC speakers with the option to have them freestanding or joined like a sound bar then you can't go wrong with these plus you get some RGB lights to jazz up the atmosphere.

Excellent quality for a great price!
I really wasn't expecting these to be as good as they are, given that the price is very low. They are USB powered so as long as you supply a USB plug then you can get up and running very quickly.The volume control is nice and you get a good level of volume with this and reasonably good quality sound. I only use these for notifications on my trading terminals, so, pretty simple sounds - and it works well for me. Pairing via bluetooth is also a possibility and certainly a nice feature to have.These also include sound activated flashing lights. The LEDs sit within the speaker and can be seen through the mesh. I didn't realise that they came with this, so was a pleasant surprise to see when they did!I feel that for the money you are getting something very special.

Lots of functionality for a small package
For the price you can't fault these. The ability to be either a soundbar, or two separate speakers to create a surround sound experience is so unique. The speaker quality themselves isn't the greatest but the functionality makes up for this, 5.0 bluetooth is a great addition as it means I can use these for my computer but also connect my phone if I choose to. It is able to be powered through USB which is a big plus for me as it means I have an extra plug socket for something else. Its build quality is solid too, the magnets aren't too strong that its difficult to swap the form factor but they're also not too weak that it falls apart easy.Really nice product, really nice form factor
