Soft, Sturdy, Square, and Affordable!
These blankets are great! Both soft and sturdy, and a great square shape. They felt a tad rough straight out of the package, but after washing they are perfect. They're also an amazing value compared to the trendy name-brand swaddle blankets.

These blankets are not soft as stated in the website description. They feel more like light canvas. Fraudulent representation
Please do not order these, they are not hospital grade and I am returning them immediately. The web description inaccurately states "hospital baby blankets" and that these are "soft." They are in no way soft. They are, in fact, hard, scratchy and I would not put these near a baby so i am returning. Even if they decide I need to pay the 20% restock fee. If you think you are getting hospital SOFT baby receiving blankets, know these ARE NOT soft at all. They feel more like light canvas. Seriously you will be extremely disappointed. I bought these for my grandchild but would not get them near her, they are that bad. While the product states "B grade" and they may have some discoloration, it also states they are SOFT. This is fraudulent representation of this product.

Not the best quality wise but was nostalgic for the kind used in hospital
We got these thinking they're like the ones we used at the hospital but -- in no fault of the seller as it was disclosed in the product description -- these are not 100% cotton, meaning it's not cottony white. Overall that wasn't a deal-breaker for us but I would agree they could appear to look dingy even when they're perfectly new/clean. The 36x36 size is actually larger than the hospital version and that was nice. At 6-months now, the baby still gets to use this as a changing table pad cover and a bassinet mattress cover (we're too cheap to buy the crazy expensive bassinet mattress covers).

I absolutely love these blankets
I absolutely love these blankets. They are better than the ones at the hospital for babies. Originally I was looking for 100% cotton blankets. These are 80/20 (20% polyester.) I don't mind that the fibers are mixed bc it helps with maintaining color and size. I have washed them several times and they get softer with each wash. Also the 36x36 size is great!!! These are hospital grade and constructed well.

Similar to hospital blankets but NOT the same
I bought these because the hospital blankets were great and once I got home, the muslin swaddles were not doing the trick for my baby and i hated the ugly blue and red ones. These are decent. They are similar to the ones used at the hospital but an uglier color. The hospital had more of a teal and peach color whereas these blankets have faint blue and pink stripes and they’re off white. They were smelly and rough when I received them but since you have to pay a fee to return them, I figured that I might as well wash them and use them. I washed then twice and doused the blankets with fabric softener and baby detergent and they fluffed up and got thicker and softer and are comparable to the hospital blankets. They need to be washed more than once to get rid of the smell but for the money, they’re worth it. They’re 80% cotton and 20% polyester whereas the hospital is 100% cotton. If you want a good deal for large swaddle blankets, these are your best bet. I also bought Moon and Baby Multi Functional Essential Receiving Baby Blanket and these are so soft and perfect for my baby but they’re also somewhat pricey at $10 per blanket.

The best
Nice and big, thick, and durable. These are the same swaddles you'll see in most hospitals and they're much better than the cute but cheap swaddles your friends will buy you from the local store. Works well as a burp rag if necessary. Not very elastic like muslin. May be too thick if you're in very warm weather.

Sturdy and handy
Sturdy blankets. I bought these with the intention of swaddling since our pediatrician said a fabric with less give than the muslin ones would make it easier. Our baby never did take to swaddling, but we use the blankets all the time. They are soft to the touch like flannel. They're warmer than muslin ones, but not hot like those polyester baby blankets.
