One of them broke immediately because it got stuck in the phone. When you snap them in they are basically stuck in place unless you manage to get it out smoothly. And if you cant you run the risk of having the piece stuck in your phone. The other one is OK so far, hasn't broken but still hard to get out of phone so I am always concerned when using it that it will ultimately break and stay stuck in the phone.

The wires worked well, but the charger became very hot a few hours into charging my old iPad2. Became concerned so I unplugged it an inserted the cord into one of my other wall chargers. Had lost the charge cord for my old iPad 2, so it was the cord that I really needed. I can't say what would have happened if I had left it in, but didn't want to risk anything.

This item was purchased because my original cable was damaged. While these work fine for recharging my phone, my computer does not recognize my phone when I use them to store backups. I cannot perform a backup to my computer or iCloud or do a restore on my phone while it is plugged into my computer using these cords.

I use the chargers as spares at work and home. They are not the longest cords or fastest chargers, but they are handy to have around and unlike some, these have held up and have not broke. They are a great price and the shipping was fast and easy.

These things work as advertised. They fit perfectly and I like the fact that I got two. They are compact and easy to travel with. I have the iPad 3.

My daughter was using this to charge her phone and it made a huge popping sound and smoke came out of it. We unplugged it quickly and it was smoking, extremely hot and blackened! I'm so glad this didn't happen at night when we were sleeping. I'm very disappointed in this product
