Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition AKA Baby Yoda with Over 25 Sound and Motion Combinations, The Mandalorian Toy for Kids Ages 4 and Up

The cuteness of this Baby Grogu is adorable, it’s so soft and fun, great quality and bigger than I expected. I bought as a gift and they are thrilled with it. Excellent quality and washes so well, worth the money. Exactly as described.

1983 and the first film I remember going to see. Return of the Jedi. To my mother's dismay I had sneaked my Return of the Jedi jumper to school and my annual school photo had me smiling from underneath it. I've been a Star Wars fan ever since. I don't mind admitting, I've bought some absolute tat over the following decades, some of it with only the most tenuous link to the franchise. Fast forward to now, I'm sitting here in my home office surrounded by Lego Star Wars, lightsabres and little baby Grogu looking down on me from the shelf he's spent the last 9 months. I'd not realised I hadn't written a review so I thought I'd better right that wrong. Now, for a youngster this would be a superb gift. I'm not entirely sure a youngster would have been allowed to watch the Mandalorian, but that's a different argument. For an adult, the wrong side of 40, it's an endulgement. It's a silly little ornament that you press its head and it does a Force sound, giggles a few times and waves its hands around. It's childish....but c'mon it's baby Yoda!! You need it in your life. My dog would disagree. She hates it and runs off every time I operate it. But I love it. Grogu has sat over my shoulder on every business video call I've made over the last 8 months. He'll sit there quiet for weeks on end until, just for the heck of it, I'll give his head a tap and see that the Force is still strong in him. It's expensive, it doesn't do much, the speaker is a bit low-rent, but it's an animated Grogu. Shut up and take my money.

Granddaughter loved this, great quality

I bought this for my daughter's first Christmas, mainly just to be a toy that she could sit and watch make noises, which she did for a while and then it was forgotten about like many other toys. However recently she has gotten into baby dolls, and Grogu has become her baby of choice, and is now suffering through the trauma of endless carrying by the ears, dribble in it's face, drops on the floor, and high speed pram rides. It's a miracle it still works at all, but other than a bit of dirt it's still good as new. So 10/10 I would recommend

I bought this toy to do an unboxing on my channel after falling in love with The Mandalorian on Disney+ and OMG this advert in this listing does not do it justice. This animatronic toy is so life like. It’s absolutely amazing. My 10 year of all the way to my husbands at 41 absolutely loves this. I paid £58 for it and it was money well spent. Such an amazing item and now he proudly sits in our coffee table where everyone can see and interact with him. Gutted he doesn’t walk though or is sound activated. He would be so much more amazing if he woke up at the sound of his name or something like in the series. Maybe something for Hasbro to do next time?

In a galaxy not so far away, my journey began as I embarked on a quest for the elusive Star Wars The Child Animatronic Edition, fondly known as Baby Yoda. The force was strong with this one, and my excitement reached hyperspace levels. Upon first encounter, the Animatronic Baby Yoda captured my attention with its lifelike movements. The Force-sensitive puppetry brought Grogu to life, from those adorable ear twitches to the mesmerizing levitating act. It felt like having a pint-sized Jedi Master in my own dwelling. The attention to detail in this Galactic treasure is remarkable. The wide-eyed expression, coupled with the tiny robes, is a testament to the craftsmanship that has gone into recreating everyone's favorite green companion. The force is truly with the creators of this animatronic marvel. Interacting with Baby Yoda was a joyous experience. The responsive coos and gurgles melted my heart faster than a lightsaber through butter. Ein supersüßer Grogu hab ihn meiner Frau zu Weihnachten gekauft ( verfrühtes Weihnachtsgeschenk ) da sie Fan der Serie The Mandalorian ist . Dieser animatronische Grogu ist einfach klasse die Bewegungen sowie Sounds sind toll . Er sieht für mich auch am besten aus und ich würde sagen wer diesen Grogu hat gibt ihn nicht mehr her . Habe ihn reduziert gekauft um die 50 Euro und das ist er allemal wert . Top Grogu, für mich nur diesen und keinen anderen und meine Frau hat es mir bestätigt gleich in den Grogu verliebt und er hat ein Sonderplatz in unserem Wohnzimmer gefunden . Simply adorable Baby. Anyone buying this baby be mindful of the batteries in the toy.First thing I did was to open the compartment to check for leaks and true enough it was just starting to leak,so I quickly removed the batteries and used tissues to quickly soak up any batt fuel that was leaking .Pls use non alkaline batteries as it may not leak so easily.I did a thorough cleaning up with dry tissue and inserted standard heavy duty Eveready batteries.All great otherwise.Love this fella

This is a gift. It's adorable, great size. I like that it can be folded in and out of its( floating thingy). Washable! Perfect. Will be loved by receiver for years I am sure. Note: the first one I ordered came with a stain. Amazon quickly remedied the issue. Literally someone picked up the stained one as they were delivering the new one. In in less than 36hrs. Fantastic!

This "The Child" figure from "The Mandalorian" is just the cutest thing ever. While he's a little on the short side, barely taller than a cell phone, his cuteness more than makes up for his lack of size. First off, he comes packaged in a decent cardboard display box that also in this particular case included the small pendant necklace that Grogu wears later in the series. Grogu is wearing a tan colored twill outfit with faux Sherpa sheepskin cuffs and collar. The jacket or cloak that he's wearing is a bit too long for this size as the fabric just pools at the bottom and honestly the fabric feels cheap. The ears of Grogu are of a soft latex material so that they'll flex and move with his animatronic actions. The head is a hard plastic but is soft to the touch and that's how you animate Grogu. You can either tap his head or rub his head and get him to start acting up. He takes a couple double A batteries that are included and the power switch has three settings - off on and auto. In auto mode he has limited interactions whereas in on mode you have more interactions. Tap or rub his head a few times and he'll even do a force push move. You can also lay him on his back and he will go to sleep. You can rub his head while he's sleeping and he'll make little gurgling noises and snoring noises as he sleeps. Stand him back up and he wakes up again. The voice is very similar to Grogu from the show. His movements are somewhat limited in that he bobbles his head, opens and closes his eyes and the ears will wiggle, and only one arm will move and that's when he's doing the force push. His other arm is on a ball socket and you can move it around, and he will rock back and forth as the base of the toy is curved. So as he's moving his head he may rock around a little bit side to side or front to back. He's not fully interactive and has a limited number of movements and sounds that he makes. I think it is mostly random how he moves or the noises he makes once you've activated him. I like this one's face better than the newer model that comes with more accessories because the mouth is in a single pose and it's a very cute look on his face. The other newer model has a mouth that moves and it's just not as realistic looking. That this is available for more than half off the original list price makes Grogu an absolute bargain. Whether you're a serious Star Wars collector or just looking for a fun accessory to a costume for cosplay or Halloween or just want an adorable little friend, this Grogu is perfect. Are there a few shortcomings? Yes. But overall he is a phenomenal little friend.
