Turbie Twist Microfiber Hair Towel, Antique White & Moonbeam (2 Pack)

I have waist-length hair and the "Extra Long" version is perfect for me! I can fit all of my hair in it without any problems and they also seem deeper. But it's very easy to accidentally purchase the "Standard" Size because they are all combined into this one listing (ask me how I know? lol : ) At the time of this review, the Extra Long only comes in 2 color options: Pink & Mint or a 2-pack of White, and the current price is about $5 more than the Standard Size. If you click on a color variation and the price drops to about $5 less, those are the "Standard" Size. Also, when you switch colors, you will see that the Product Description changes and no longer says "Extra Long". The Turbi Twists are made of true Microfiber. They are super soft and not as thick as the ones that are more like terrycloth, but they work really well in absorbing water. The design is perfect because the loop is located at the middle of the back of the head instead of all the way down at the bottom like on the cheaper brands, so these cause less "tension" on your hair. My new healthy haircare routine using Turbi Twists: I have cut my blow drying time down to 8-10 minutes by using the Turbi Twists to "pre-dry" my hair. So after I am done washing and conditioning my hair, I squeeze out as much water as I can with my hands and then I immediately put on my first Turbi Twist before I even get out of the shower. I wear the first one for about 10 minutes and this removes a ton of water! Then I apply my hair products and gently brush out my hair to evenly distribute the products. I use a FLEXIBLE detangling brush and start from the bottom up. Then I put on my 2nd Turbi Twist and wear it for 30 minutes and then blow dry on medium heat. This routine has cut my blow drying time down to 8-10 minutes! I have wavy frizzy hair so I do straighten my hair with a steam straightening comb after the blow dry (on the lowest heat setting with one pass). And then overnight heatless curls on Day 3, which last the rest of the wash week... My hair has never been healthier!!! Thank you Turbi Twist for making these, and please never stop making the Extra Long size for us Long-Haired Girls!

UPDATE: washed my hair today. The twisty turbie worked very well. Used leave in conditioner and argan oil and left on for 15 minutes. It absorbed water but did not get heavy. I let my hair air dry and it did not frizz like it usually does. The towel was just damp and dried quickly while left hanging with no residue from the product. I RECOMMEND. I may come back and give it a 5 star. But I just got it today. I wanted to let others know that it is NOT initially COLOR FAST. I hand washed with cold water Woolite and some dye was present in the water. It will probably dissipate after several washes. But be aware. I only plan on hand washing till the rinse water is clear. Low heat on dryer for 15 minutes. I tried it on my head before washing and it fits well. I have shoulder length wavy, very dry, gray hair. I suspect it would not work for really long hair. I wash my hair on Monday. Going to use my leave in conditioner and some argan oil and let it sit in the towel for 20 minutes. So, I’ll review again with a review on that.

works great. Not sure why it took me so long to buy something like this. I always would struggle with my towel wrapped around my head. Trying to put make up on and with a slight tilt of my head and my towel would start tumbling down. ugh so annoying. this is easy, works great and the added plus helps with drying my hair. highly recommend.

I purchased a 3 pack of Turbie Twist years ago. When it came time to order new ones, I was skeptical that I would get anything close to the originals. I was pleasantly surprised. They are great quality, very soft and just as easy to use. The elastic loop was improved, which adds to the durability! I have curly hair that I air dry. This product absorbs excess moisture and leaves my hair perfect. I also like that it is a woman owned company.

I’ve bought a variety of hair towels over the years and I’m back to the turbie twist. I wasn’t sure I’d like the microfiber over the cotton, but they are super soft. Just a bit on the thin side too, but still great on absorbency. Easy to secure with the elastic band and stays in place. 4 stars because one of the twists has a hole in it that I didn’t notice until I had already washed them. Inspect your package before washing.

I'm a Caucasian girl of Irish descent. I have extremely dark, thick and long hair with bangs. It usually takes me at least 40 minutes to blow dry my hair - without styling it. And this is after letting it try to air dry for about 30 minutes. Turbie Twist has solved this problem. Before getting this product, I hated styling my hair and I hated blow drying it even more. Cold drying never worked on my hair so I had to use high heat. Because I have sensitive skin, this would leave blotches all over my neck, ears, and face. I'd feel hot and miserable the entire time and would have to wait another hour to put on makeup because I had to wait for the rashes to go down. Sleeping on wet hair was the worst. I actively avoided showering in the evenings because I didn't want to wait hours and hours for my hair to dry so that I could go to bed. (For reference, if I wanted to be in bed at 9, I would have had to have showered by 5 if I was letting it "air dry" and, even then, it would still be damp at the scalp, especially at the nape of my neck.) I usually wear my hair in a hair clip (which is causing awful cowlicks) to avoid having my wet hair sit on my shoulders and neck for endless hours while it dries. My hair would soak through towels. I'd have to use two or more towels to dry off myself and my hair. I could not wear the clothing out if I allowed my wet hair to dry on it because it would smell like stale water. My significant other comes from a family of many women and he recommended it to me. I was skeptical. But he said the women is his family couldn't live without them. Now I can't live without them. Twisting my hair into the turbie can be challenging because I have a lot of layers. I've found that brushing it while hanging my head upside down helps gather everything together. I use one Turbie when I get out of the shower. And, if I just want to have loosely dried hair (that's not dripping everywhere and soaking my clothes), I'm good after wrapping it for about 20 minutes. If I want to blowdry my hair, I can do one for 10 and then a second for another 10 minutes. This will nearly fully dry my hair and I can now use the "warm" and "cool" settings on my blowdryer to finish the drying and to style it. No more blotchy face. I can even put my makeup on while the Turbie is working its magic, something I couldn't do when I was having to use high heat to blowdry it. Since using this product, I have had fewer "wet rashes" around my neck, my clothes have not been smelling like stale water from where the hair has soaked through them, and I can sleep comfortably without having wet hair or having to blow dry my hair before going to bed. I am now purchasing these for other women in my life because I cannot go back to the old ways. Definitely worth picking up a multi-pack of these. Also, the colors are really pretty! I love the pink and teal!
