OLFA 9mm Ultra-Sharp Black Snap-Off Blades (ABB-50B) - 50 Blades

A YouTube video brought these blades to my attention. The YouTuber claimed that they are very sharp (as usual) but they are also very rigid. They do bend or flex like other replaceable blades and he is right. I ran some test cuts when they arrived and they work great. No bending or flexing especially in tight corners.

If you need a blade that will cut thick leather, plastic, denim, or most anything else like a hot knife through butter, look no further. I use these on my leather work and cut through 9-10 Oz with very little pressure and the absolute cleanest edges. No more fighting with "sharp" utility blades that always leave a little crinkle on the edges.

not what I wanted ,but no problum to return

In the car audio/fabrication industry an Olfa blade is the ONLY blade to go with. I have many Olfa Silver pocket blades and use them for almost everything. But these blades really shine when tinting windows, wrapping speaker boxes in carpet, wrapping trim panels in vinyl and car audio installs. That’s why I get the 50pack of replacement blades. For one the price is right, they are highly durable and work better than any other blade on the market. A must have for anyone’s shop or garage.

We go through a ton of these at my sign shop. These are consistently sharper and more durable than the silver hardware store blades. They snap where they are supposed to and hold an edge longer. Would reccomend

I thought it might be a bit of a gimmick but I gave these blades a try. Compared to regular blades of this type, I can assure you these ones are not only far sharper, but they maintain their edge far longer. The combination of both of these features made them my new go to, and I have picked them up in other formats as well (both 9mm and 18mm as well as the single edge ones) Best blades around. Highly, highly recommended.

Cheap, but brittle. OK for cutting paper, but on anything harder will chip. For cutting such as plastic or FR4 (PCB) strongly advise more expensive blades. Photo shows damage to end and nicks from cutting plastic.
