Padding in palm area helps when bearing down on a demolition jack hammer. Without the added cushioning, pain can sometimes be felt on initial use. Glove is form fitting (with my hands). The wrist wrap also provides added support for the wrist (adds comfort).

Very durable... minus the small stitching flaw in the index finger of the right hand. I won't do any heavy lifting with out then from here out. This is by far one of the most advanced work gloves out there. I use them everyday doing rough out and trim.. Ironclad is nothing compared to the comfort of these... If you know Ironclad.. YOU REALLY need to get these! Better durability and WAY better skeletal support. Just the best gloves for anyone with wrist pain hands down.. the support is like a work out glove.. the padding too. Yet I can handle a 1/16 inch drill bit no problem. I love these gloves. I could wear them in winter too.. I would bet they will be plenty comfortable in below freezing temps.. I plan on trying them on My motorcycle this winter. They are awesome for atv'ing.. zero fatigue. Don't waste money on anything else.. this is the stop point!

After 15-30 min of using one of my power tools w/o gloves, my hands get all numb or tingly for several minutes. I just recently used these gloves with that tool and they DO help... but they aren't perfect. After 15-30 min. WITH the gloves, my finger tips still get a bit tingly, but it is MUCH, MUCH better than without. Take a look at the product picture. You'll see some nice padding in the palm and a small spot on the thumb. These work great. I'd like to see more of this same padding on the fingers and a bit more at the base of the thumb. I imagine that would decrease the dexterity, but for my uses, that would be fine. Bottom line: * Very comfortable fit * Uses double stitches--looks very durable * Noticeable improvement over no gloves * Dexterity is more than adequate for my uses * I'd like to find ones with more padding in the fingers. I doubt any gloves will completely eliminate the vibration shock to my hands, but I think I'll continue looking. If you have a recommendation, please add a comment, below :)

A little tighter than the pair I bought a few years ago. It could be me, but I think it's the gloves ... mainly because my hands still measure as a large. I'd look into going up a size. These are the best work gloves for me of about 6 different work gloves I've tried (different versions of ironclad, dt pro). I have repetitive strain injury in my left hand from working with shovels and hand tools. These gloves are tough and help tremendously with wrist support and palm padding. This is my second pair not because they wore out, but because I left the first pair on a job site. They're a little bit more expensive than regular work gloves but well worth it if you need the support.

Moderate protection in the upper and lower palm. Although these gloves are padded and thick, they are surprisingly flexible. I am able to pick up and manipulate small hardware easily, even though these glove are leather. I have a wrist injury, and these glove have a approximately 2.5" elastic band that completely encircles the wrist. This makes my wrist very comfortable due to the extra support. Well worth the money.

Great gloves - these have excellent wear and are good for all rough work - not water resistant so as long as it's dry you are good. Youngstown makes a great glove. Really too thick for hot weather but excellent for cool/moderate cold weather. They are "anti-vibration" however I'm not really buying them for that purpose - I use various tools (oscillating cut-off tool, etc.) and haven't had any problems with vibration but I expect many gloves would offer this same kind of vibration reduction. In any event, I wll buy these again.

I bought these gloves to deal with vibration while using my weed whacker. They have excellent padding in the palms and in fingers and it really takes out the vibration. I was getting real bad soreness in my hand joints even days after using the weed whacker so I really wanted something with some good padding to prevent this. These gloves have worked great so far. They are pretty comforatbale too. Durability seems to be pretty good. I have only used them for yard work but they have held up pretty well so far. Unfortunatley they run small so the larges are more like a medium size glove. I wasnt interested in returning them so I just ended up cutting off the finger tips. I would definitley go up a size if I was giving advice to someone buying these. They also have this stupid wrap around wrist guard. I dont know what the purpose of it is because you can tighten the gloves fine without using it so I also ending up cutting it off. Its like a weight lifting brace for your wrists but its soft so it wouldnt even brace properly. I found it to be very hot in the summer so cutting it off made them a lot more comfortable. I probably wouldnt recommend these to a friend. They have some good qualities but there has to be something better out there. I was just looking for as much vibration deadening as I could find and that is one thing that these gloves do well.

I use these gloves for everything. They are thick and vibration dampening. They have a really nice wrap about strap on the wrist so that they fit snug. They have a lot of flexibility and mobility, and are still good for work that needs some dexterity. They can get a bit hot, and they aren't exactly slip off and slip on with the wrap around strap... but those are the only drawbacks I can find and I would still recommend them and give them 5 stars.

I want to like this glove. The glove appears to be well made, as with other Youngstown gloves. I have a number of others of various types from Youngstown, and I wear a Large in all the other types. However this glove feels way too tight, and the wrist strap is a joke. It is about an inch too short around my wrist. Even when not being worn, the strap is too short to attach without constricting the opening of the glove. I would not wear these with the strap as it will cut off circulation (which is kind of the whole point of wearing an anti-vibration glove). I'll return and try the next size up, but I suspect the wrist strap will still be too tight. Other Youngstown at a 5/5; this is a 2/5 due to the strap and poor sizing.

Great gloves. I work in an automotive shop and purchased these to help protect my hands and wrists while using an impact gun or air hammer. The wrist strap is great and a key feature that most other companies do not offer. Terry cloth thumb for Wiping sweat. Great customer service from the company as well. Visit their website and find a size chart as there is also a measurement for the finger length size.

good quality, wish there was thicker padding on the top of the palm though.

This is my second pair in ten years. They are very well made. My son and a co-worker have started using these gloves to protect and prevent injuries.

I found that these gloves seemed off on the sizing.. I ordered an XL pair , but they still seemed on the small side. The cuffs were sort as well plus the velcro fastener was awkward to you. Other than that they appeared to be no better than moderate priced anti-vibration gloves. i bought these because they were supposed to be the best , they work , but I am slightly disappointed.
