Doesn’t seal
Doesn’t even fit half an onion. It won’t seal completely which means it’s a waste of money.

Better than plastoc wrap. genius idea
The silicone rubber camee out and I put it back in the slot, works fine just didn't expect a surprise. This now adds tomato to lemon/lime and large onion. Great idea, try one you'll like it.

Only holds 1/2 small onion.
I tried to use with 3/4 onion. Doesn't work. Even 1/2 onion cut vertically is a tough fit. Does not snap close completely. Will update my review later with freshness report.Disappointed.

Not Like the Lemon Saver
The tomato saver has a removable silicone gasket. I removed it and washed all by hand. The problem is that it doesn't tuck in tightly, and it pops off when you try to close it over a tomato. Great concept, poor design - uncharacteristic of this fantastic company. Missed the return window and I've contacted OXO. Waiting to hear from.UPDATE: OXO is an excellent company. They responded (it took a few days) to my email, requested a photo of the tomato saver and then offered me anything of comparable price on their site. (They're sold out on tomato savers.. and wonder if they'll continue producing them.) HURRAY for excellent customer support!

Good onion storage
This helps an onion to last longer. However I have two of them because a big onion doesn’t work. It won’t shut. I cut the onion in half and use two these.
