I decided to take a chance on this station and I'm happy I did. I had to install a Gulikit joystick in my Xbox series X controller to deal with stick drift. Knowing that those joystick anchor pins will heat sink, I knew the job wasn't going to be quick and easy. That said, I was able to get the job done with this iron. I debated between this one and the YIHUA 939D, but I opted for the 926 because of the "helping hands." The iron heated up very quickly and stayed at a constant temperature. It certainly gets hot enough for this sort of work. I am very happy with this purchase and highly recommend this iron. If you're wanting to save a few bucks and still end up with a solid station, you won't miss with this one. (However, I opted for leaded solder over the lead-free!)

I replaced an older, top-shelf brand of soldering station with the Yihua unit. It seems accurate, it heats very rapidly, the "sleep" feature seems to work as advertised, and I like the slightly smaller "footprint" on the bench. I don't know that this unit would last very long on a production line, but for casual and occasional use it seems just fine. The price certainly is most reasonable and it seems quite well made. I am a "happy camper" for now at least!

I bought this soldering iron to replace a cheap-o one I had bought from a hardware store some years back. I wanted a proper soldering station with adjustable controls, and when I saw this one by YIHUA, I figured it was worth a try. It was even available for same-day delivery, so I figured I may as well try it out! When I got it, I was pleasantly surprised at the extras supplied. It comes with, i think, 5 extra tips, a roll of solder (It doesn't classify the material or flux, if any), the soldering station, and some tweezers. Real nice additions. When you pick it up, you'll immediately realize it's sort of... cheap. When you go to swap out the tips, you'll this sort of ceramic heating element. I'm not sure if that's a standard in soldering irons but it didn't feel like a premium product. Once I started it up, though, it was great. It heats up in about 10 seconds. 60W is a great upgrade when you've been working with 10-30W. Great for plastic welding and soldering, and it isn't that big of a deal when you break it. I don't think I'd buy one again if it failed, I'd just go ahead and shell out the cash for a Weller soldering station. For a beginner, tinkerer, or even for your teenager (under supervision, i suppose) this is a great station to get started with. I've had it for (around) a month, have been using it on a daily basis anywhere between 5-20 minutes at a time, and it's been great so far. If anything fails in the future I'll update the review but for the time being, I'm happy with it.

Wasted a lot of time and money on 450° and straight hot soldering irons. Wasted a lot of guitar pots do to wrong heat. This baby here solved all my problem. Heats ups great. Quality of work tobe done looking much better. Made it's own station. Everything together now easy to use and move and store. Those two helping hand clips work so great making all things easier and no burnt hands. Came with everything one might need and instructions all.

Heats up incredibly fast. Does the job. The arms and clamps are very useful. Would recommend.

Excellent value! I’m coming from a generic pencil soldering iron and a big trigger pull iron and I mainly work on guitars and tube amps. This new one is so much better and really heats up fast and holds temp. Great for occasional use, but is plastic and at this price, it is obviously not designed for a serious pro or daily shop use. Note, some complain about the helping arms not staying in place but make sure to use the supplied nuts that come with it on each arm, and tighten those to the side, not tighten just the arms to the side. (Watch the video!) Pros: Heats up quickly. Easy to read temp display. Holds temperature. Place to hold a roll of solder Helping arms are great and easy to move, has plastic removable ends Small and does not take much room, self-contained, looks good Multiple tips supplied, a place to store all, and all actually work well Supplied solder works well, love the roller Arms can be removed Long cord on the soldering iron making it easy to keep the cord out of the way. Cons: Power cord to the unit is way too short. At least have it long enough it will reach the floor from a standard height table. Could have used a small movable led light, maybe as an extra arm. Heating at the tip is sometimes lacking. I’ve measured the area about the tip to temp, but at the tip it can be significantly less. Overall, I'm crazy OCD doing research and this is the one I landed on after hours of looking around. I've not found a better one with all the accessories in any brick and mortar store nor one at this price online that gets these reviews.

Okay, let me preface this by stating that I am by no means a professional tinkerer. I purchased this originally to fix my Polaroid folding camera, which worked. Here is my experience with this soldering iron. When I received the package, the instructions were well written and the device itself was intuitive. It was easy to set up, and get started with soldering. I used the default tip that the iron came with pre-assembled, the device heats up within minutes, and was able to heat up the solder wire that it came with fairly quickly. I had to remove a flex cable and the iron was able to remove the old solder easily, the old solder joint was rather big in size so I had a lot of surface area to heat up with the iron. I did what I needed to and I was happy with this soldering station. Now I know, I know, what I’m about to say next was definitely my lack of experience but I do see big flaws with this iron…next I was attempting to repair an HDMI port on a Ps5 and it went badly 😭 this iron unfortunately does not meet the needs of micro-soldering heat stability. I was using Sn63Pb37 wire and so the temperature I needed on my iron was 183c, and I had set the station to 10 degrees above that just to be sure it melted. Well it didn’t and it did, this iron does not provide an efficient method of heat distribution and so some parts of my tips were hot and other parts cooler, mostly the tip itself or any corner/flat part of the tip. I tested a variety of tips and it was the same each time. I could not melt the wire with any part of the tip point, and could only melt it with the metal near the base of where the actual heat element is, so I had to increase the station temperature over hundreds of what is recommended to be able to melt with the tip point. I thought I had it, and would be able to continue on.. except that when I had contact with the circuit board solder joints, the tip would rapidly cool down and so the iron would be stuck in contact with the solder / PCB until it heated up again! I used high quality flux too but it still happened. The tip isn’t capable of providing enough heat, and if it does heat then it can’t consistently heat, leading to the iron getting stuck on whatever solder you’re working with. It also is inconvenient to change tips because it’s screw-on nature, so you have to wait a while before it’s cool enough to touch and remove the tip. Yihua does give you a good amount of accessories, which is nice, but doesn’t make up for its lack of power when it comes to the hard stuff. The power cord is also shorter than I’d expected, so unless you have a desk with an easily accessible power receptacle, then it will be an issue. I can’t recommend this station to anyone who is looking to build up their soldering skills in the long run, but I can recommend to anyone looking for simple big solder joint practice. Just know that this soldering iron won’t be able to provide the power for smaller joints. I give this product a 4/10, you’ll definitely want to go for a better quality machine, if you are thinking of this model as an “everything” solder station.

Om first use itself, poor build quality is evident in all aspects. LED display never tells correct temperature. Knob is fiddly. Helping hands are useless. The holder for solder wire wobbles. NOTHING ABOUT THIS IS GOOD! I was misled by reviews. Takes forever to reach soldering temperature. Is short, GARBAGE. I have borrowed a friends soldering iron that cost him one tenth. On top of that, Why is Amazon selling 120 Volts products in India WITHOUT declaring this upfront!!! This means shelling out THOUSANDS for a good voltage converter on top of this garbage product. WHY???
